Radyomuzun kuruluşu esnasında birçok isim düşündük. Radyomuzun felsefesine uygun, daha önce kullanılmamış, bize özgü, ilgi çekici ve Türkçe bir isim olsun istedik. Birçok fikir ortaya atıldı ve en sonunda “Radyo Meydan FM” isminde mutabık kaldık. Kaliteli yayınlarımızla, yayınladığımız şarkılarla, içtenliğimizle ve dinleyiciyle olan bağımızla adeta kulaklığa/hoparlöre yapışıp kalacağınız kopamayacağız bir radyo olma vizyonuyla bu yola çıktık. Radyo Meydan FM ismi ilgi çekici farklı bir isim olmasından ve felsefemize en uygun isim olmasından dolayı bu ismi seçtik.
