How does CollisionCall work?

Normal usage
Once installed and set up, open the app and just start driving. Should you get involved into an accident, an attention sound is heard so you know the emergency services are being called. Your friends will receive an email with your location and map, so they can instantly act. The app can be used whether you drive a fancy car or an old-timer or even a motorcycle, as it can be used in the background as well.

Technical description
The app monitors your speed deceleration. During accidents this deceleration (G- force) can be very high and well above normal or even quick stops. The effect of those decelerations to human bodies can be severe or even deadly. This mostly happens when driving fast (for instance on a highway). Based on medical research to those effects on human bodies, the app will only act in those decelerations where it has a serious and significant effect. Hence, when you need help most and fastest.


How do I know CollisionCall works?

The app has been successfully tested to act during normal decelerations. The app you can download to use has been programmed to those settings where it only has serious impact on your body. When using the app you will automatically see 'standby' change to 'running' above 30 km/hr., so you know it is working. You need to drive 10 seconds above 30 km/hr. since you do not want to call the emergency service when accidentally dropping your phone.
