It sucks. Everytime I try to open an article, I get an annoying browser redirect to a pop up ad. I spend more time trying to get out of the pop ups than I do reading articles. This just started in the past few months. Horrible app. I'm going to uninstall.

Just installed, 5 minutes later uninstalling, I can't read the news when ads are popping up during every article. Disappointed.

Every time I click an article I win the prize. The pop up ads are obnoxious. Simply awful.

Keeps sending me to web browser pop up ads on every article. Not a fan of seeing an ad in app and then a another one immediately afterwards.

SERVER ERRORS, ADS, I'm the lucky user. Annoying! Garbage!

What good is a news app if you can't read the article without pop ups redirecting to a different screen.

At first I thought had malware or a browser hijacker on my device since every time I clicked on a news article I'd be redirected to an obviously garbage website, but after a few negative security scans, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then finally reading user reviews of this app, I was disappointed to find that what I thought would be a reputable app is in actuality complete garbage. I can get past the lousy, non-working breaking news links and other nuances, but I draw the line at fishy website redirects. Completely unprofessional.

Seriously. How do you get it this wrong? If this app was a person, I don't think I could make eye contact with it. I get "breaking news" updates hours later. And then, when I click on it, I get a 404 error. A strong 12 year old could write a better app. For guidance see the wlwt app.

Terrible at every time I get a news alert I click on it and something different comes up. Even in the app if you click on an article it never brings up the right article.

Too many ads, especially ads that interrupt what you are doing. Too many stories that cannot be opened. I cannot understand how this app is rated as highly as it is

News alerts usually can't be opened, clicking on any headline often takes you to the newest one and you can't get to the one you want. Need better programers!

This was a good app, but recently some of the errors are ridiculous. For example, right now clicking any headline will lead only to the lead story. Sometimes you click a headline and you see a page that says the story is unavailable. Sometimes you click a headline and there is no story, only the headline repeated again in a very short page. If they could get their quality control work out this app is pretty good.

Love the newscast. The app? Not so much. If I try streaming the newscast to my Android device, the results are mixed. When it does work, it shuts off during commercial breaks. I have to restart it.

The app is horrible. Clicking on a news story only opens the first story forcing you to scroll to the one you actually want. Pop-up ads are annoying. Yes, I get free apps will have ads, but ads randomly popping up is annoying.

NEW: If you're going to automatically play video upon opening app, you'd better provide an OPT-OUT! I am only rarely interested in any video! If there is no way to avoid the video, I'll REMOVE the app! OLDER: I'm really tired of chasing an alert (particularly for a traffic situation) only to find NO STORY to obtain details! AND your traffic link NEVER has anything other than old news about possible closures, most that were announced days ago.

Poor implementation. Click on an article to read and you never get what you want. And breaking news alerts at 4:45 AM for a Bengals player going to court is stupid.

I used to like this app. You did not need to be a club member like the Channel 9 app, and there were minimal advertisements. Now, in addition to adds, there are annoying pop ups that open in another window - You may be a winner! Your device may be infected! EVERY time you open a story this happens. I've deleted the app.

This new app, which was forced upon us and wants all kinds of permissions, crashes on startup. So I guess it's down to WLWT and WCPO.

Why have live video if it always freezes and crashes

I don't like the new version. I use to look forward to opening this ap now I'm thinking about deleting and finding a new news ap. Old one was better.

New update is horrible. Shows same stories over and over. Every time you read an article and exit it goes back to the top of the article list.
