Capture your thoughts naturally using pen and paper in your Rocketbook notebook. Then, use the Rocketbook app to digitize your notes and instantly organize them inside the services you use. Simply mark special icons on each notebook page to send your notes to your email inbox or specific locations inside Google Docs, Dropbox, and Evernote. The Rocketbook app uses your smartphone camera to "see" your notebook pages and instantly blast them in to the cloud.
The joy of pen and paper meets the utility of the cloud.

I love the way the book works with the app, but my only problem is that the notes are so low-res. Can you please increase the resolution of the picture? Or at least give us the option to change the resolution to a higher value?
I find this product to do exactly what it advertises. One of the biggest issues I see popping up in the comments is that the image quality is poor, however this can be adjusted in the settings under the "whitewash" option. Simply tone down the setting and it looks more and more like the actual image.
It does its job well, no problems.
I'm excited to use this product, but there are such full-stop problems! I created an account online, and cannot login on my device (I'm using LastPass, so I know my password is correct). I try to reset my password on Android, and it says my email isn't valid. Huh? There's no way to change the password on the site, except for going back to login and resetting. And, to top it off, I see no way of getting help on the site. I'm sorry, this is very frustrating, poor design.
It works, but the Pilot Frixion pen, which is not a Rocketbook product but is needed to make it work, does the same thing on its own. How to make your own Rocketbook for under $10.00: Buy Frixion pens online. Write on any type of paper. Snap picture of the page- no tags are needed. Save picture to the desired location(s). Erase. The page is just as blank as before you wrote on it. Rocketbook is useless without this specific pen. In other words, the technology existed before this product. Smart marketing- lots of initial investors like me thought this was an inventive and original product. The Frixion pen is the inventive and original product. And whatever you do, don't purchase the pens through the RB site. They are readily available online for half the price. So is paper. Don't get me wrong, it works as advertised, but the book is unnecessary. Use good old paper for the same results.
The app is quick and works great. Truly a time and space saver for any academic / business professional who deals with multiple tasks / course load.
Lack of any Office 365 support grinds my gears. My school uses Office 365 and I can't log in with my school account or receive notes using my personal email. Please add Office 365 support pllleeeeaaaaase thanks!
Don't know why its made if not scanning pages
Need to increase resolution of the scans. In its current state, even zooming in slightly reveals pixels. Quality of scans needs to be at least on par with other document scanners on the Play Store.
Great way to keep all of my notes organized and share notes with colleagues. Love the icons for sending notes to different cloud services.
I'm only getting the sign up. Will change rating upon response
Very basic and slow.
not working on my book
Does it work only on rocket book??
It's not recognising any of the pages making the product just a regular notebook
It works OK I guess, but really offers nothing that you couldn't achieve using something like Office Lens and a regular notebook.
I love the app and the system. I bought the notepad version and it works great with the app.
I don't have any problem at all. Always looking for something like this to relate directly to my phone and tab. Would be great if they bring something out like the phree pen.....
App allows download of free PDF rocketbook pages. I printed my own and tested it using pencil and works perfectly.
Just scanned in my first 3 pages and it seamlessly sent them to my Google Drive folder!
I like the notebook first off, and the app is fairly easy to use and dies what it promises. On the other hand is not so hard to take a picture of your notes yourself and send it to you, but here you get metadata on the filename. I wish the subject of the email was more intuitive for easier access later, for example the page or if it could use a hashtag.
Sadly very clunky UI. Optional permissions should be used to access features as Gdrive.
Easy enough to take picture of my standard book and send pictures to my emails accounts.
How do I store images on my android phone's SD Card ?
App is quite difficult to use and really needs a UI refresh to follow material design patterns. Interface isn't intuitive and icons appear low resolution on screen. Product and functionality is great but the interface is severely lacking.
After you assign the destination to the icons, it works well. High quality paper too. The copies show up well. But you must hold it steady. I don't have any complaints yet.
It's not Material design and the interface is still rather confusing.
Tried it. But it just doesn't want to take any photos??
My previous one star review was due to user error. My apologies. After you assign your destinations (email, Google drive, etc) to your icons on the bottom page you should be able to snap pics of each page and then press the green check mark to send. Well done, it works!
My phone has a 4k camera. There is no reason for it to not have an option for higher quality pictures. Currently, the images are very pixelated. I understand higher compression means faster uploads but at least have quality options. The debug mode does NOT send the raw image like it claims. In fact, the debug image was smaller than the regular one
The idea is great, but the resolution is very lacking. I found I can get the best results by switching to manual focus and playing with the light, but even then it is very pixilated and often missing portions of the letters.
I have a very expensive notebook which can't send the poor scans anywhere. Deleting
Work fine as is, but I find it feels limited in a few ways. Having the option to have multiple locations associated with each icon would be great, as well as the option for higher resolution, colour images.
Works well, first scans a little over exposed (adjust flash on your camera) - PLEASE add Amazon Cloud as a destination!!
Good app overall. Does what it's supposed to do. It'd be way better if it took higher resolution pictures, though.
Great way to get your squiggles into a computer or cloud but it would be great if you could adjust the resolution.
Seems to be working now after initial issues in synching. Great concept
The shooting speed is fast, but the resolution is too low, can the developer improve it?
Evernote says it's connected, but the rocetbook app doesn't allow for its use. It just hangs at the connecting dialog.
jot down notes, save it forever....
