Best mobile banking app. Very fast and very reliable, can do pretty much everything just like desktop but it's much quicker (the online is good as well). Works with root which is nice with only a small feature restriction which is simply the disabling of using your fingerprint reader to login instead of a pin... Small feature which is nice but it's reasonable to lose with root. Makes the others look like stuff from the dark ages...Great stuff Natwest

I didn't think I'd like this app but it's proven me wrong. The Natwest app has let me withdraw money in an emergency, manage payments very quickly and let's me check my accounts in seconds! Its been very useful when ive not had proper signal to sign into online banking (at the hospital is usually a huge issue) as this app still works!!! Very pleased and recommended.

W70%
by W####:

Just to start if you want to check your account balance I'd just do it online or via phone. It's easier. But on the rare occasions this thing actually works, the app itself is great. Natwest you need some fixing! I waited about 2 months before this review and the same thing happened on my iPhone when I had that (Samsung a5 now)

Best mobile banking app. So easy to use. I'm really not good at payig people, never have cash on me., this app has really changed things. I can always pay people quickly and easily. So easy, always know where i am financially. Well done Natwest!

Q70%
by Q####:

The app has got better and better over time and i can do pretty much everything banking wise i need to. For some services you're taken to the NatWest web site, which is also very comprehensive, but not as mobile friendly. Great app, especially when linked with Android Pay and Paym

V70%
by V####:

Really good app! Very simple to use! A lot easier than having to log in to the online system and having to remember loads of different numbers! Only niggle is I wish you could add new payees on the app, I have to write out all the account information, etc every week to pay the same person! I suppose this is a safety feature but if it's going to let you make the payment anyway then there should be a way of saving that person's details to the account so you don't have to write it out every time!

Y70%
by Y####:

Really good app. Laid out really well and so simple to use. Making payments to other people is so easy after setting it up and can view your money (where it's all gone!) very quickly. Couldn't be without it

Q70%
by Q####:

Mmm. Look, this app is good. It works well, the security standards are high. It's just too limited compared to the likes of Barclays App. It doesn't have the same functionality as the NW online website, which doesn't make too much sense. For instance, I am unable to add a permanent payee in the app. To do so, you have to log on to a laptop, with a card reader and go through the steps.

After having a lot of issues with apps with another bank - from the minute I opened the account, Natwest has been a very stress free experience. Easy to link accounts and transfer money with the app. Very efficient.

Q70%
by Q####:

Love this app, revolutionised my life and I now do pretty much everything on it. Only niggles are that you can't add new Payees to it you have to go online to do that. You also have to go online for international payments, manage standing orders etc. But I guess it's for convenient day to day stuff rather than the bigger things that require more detailed security? Anyway, I love it ... thank you

D70%
by D####:

An intuitive app that fulfilled all my banking, savings & credit card management needs. Great app and easy to use. Fingerprint recognition works every time unlike some that require complicated algorithms which you have to be Einstein to remember.

D70%
by D####:

A well designed interface that also allows me to do what I need and more. I only use the web version for full screen transaction view or yo take screenshots (the app should support some means of saving content if screenshots are disabled. There are many reasons why we'd need to record what we see on screen..)

L70%
by L####:

Really good app. However every few months it decides to make your life hell by refusing to use your fingerprint and getting you to use that pass code you never bothered to remember because it's easier for a Hacker to find a code rather than to cut off your fingers. However other than the fact it makes you want to kill yourself every few months it's great

Q70%
by Q####:

One of the best banking apps I've used! Simple layout, easy to navigate, with all functions you can expect from an online banking app. No bugs that I've come across (yet?). Banking at your finger tips, indeed! Well done team Natwest!

Q70%
by Q####:

Good app does what I need it too. I can see all my nat west accounts in one place. Good security too with thumb print access possible. Love the ability to access money if your out and forgot your purse it's come in handy a lot.

Q70%
by Q####:

I use it all the time. It's instant, you can have a card declined and whip out your phone tap a few keys and ask the cashier to try again and it goes through no problem. I'm always using it for checking balances and if payments have been received or not. It's very handy indeed.

Q70%
by Q####:

The design refresh is loads better (well done Yandis!), but I keep having a problem when transferring money between accounts - if I enter say £1.41, only £1.11 is transferred. First time I thought I had mistyped, but it's happening consistently and is really annoying.

Used to work fine on my Samsung, but now have Lenovo and it crashes as soon as try to register - on first number entry. Have uninstalled, reinstalled, waited for latest Lenovo updates, reinstalled again and still crashes... This is since New Year - 5 months .... Please fix it as cannot easily monitor balances

An excellent app. Very easy to use and functional. Appears secure as well. Recommended download Rapport affects my computer making it slow and sluggish so have to uninstall it to improve matters. The NatWest app is highly recommended 5 stars

U70%
by U####:

Good app but I cannot find anywhere the pending payments tab. There should be one. I use it a lot! The transactions tab could do with a redo. There's no way you can exit easily. Thanks

Q70%
by Q####:

Very simple to use. Easy to see recent entries on my a account and to make payments. I'm always slightly surprised that the level of security required to log in is so low. All you need to do is type in a PIN and you're straight in and can see all your personal data.

J70%

The app is fine but I wish you could add or change a reference when transferring funds between accounts or to people on your payee list. I have my kids accounts linked to mine so when I pay in their birthday money to their accounts via mine... or when they spend it, it would be useful to be able to track it.

Q70%
by Q####:

It does nearly everything that web access does, but so much more easily. When it can save new payees I'll give it 5 stars. About a year later now, and I'm still waiting for the facility to save payees...

Q70%
by Q####:

Is a good app, you can do most things but I would have liked it more if it automatically save anyone you transfer money to without having to re-entry it again next time. Over all is nice.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is brilliant. Logical in its layout and always improving. I have only one gripe. Is it takes a while for balances to reflect and update. Natwest to Natwest fast but other institutions and retailers are a bit slow.

Q70%
by Q####:

Good app to use on the go. The fact that I can use it to get money from cashpoint when I don't have my card makes the app more than handy. Good for planning and keeping track of spending

V70%
by V####:

Amazing app very easy to use. It always works perfectly never had problems. You even can pay with it if you don't have your card with you. 100% happy :-)

Q70%
by Q####:

I have this app on my HTC and works fine but on my Lenovo it shuts down as soon as i enter the app! I can't say I'm happy with it at all and the account information takes ages to update and slow to get the correct balances in my accounts. This does not give me a clear picture of my account information that's accurate and current.

Q70%
by Q####:

I was trying send money to someone new and everything I minimise the app it close itself. It was really annoying I had to find pen and paper to write down the account details. Second - I couldn't transfer more than 250 which again was nightmare. This whole app sucks.

This app is probably the main reason I bank with NatWest. Everyone is amazed on how good and useful this app is compared to their bank's. Amazing team of developers you guys have! Looking forward to new features!

Q70%
by Q####:

Really hand app, with lots of security features such as automatic log-out and the inability to screenshot sensitive data. App sometimes has some bugs, but these are usually quickly resolved if you contact Natwest via twitter.

E70%
by E####:

this would get 5 stars if only they would include a feature to see pending payments. sometimes its hard to keep track of whats been paid before it shows on your bank statement and normally should I wish to query any oending payments, I have to phone up. Other banking apps do this feature, why not natwest?

Q70%
by Q####:

Overall this app is very good, quick and easy to use, clearly laid out and intuitive. However, it's usability could benefit from a couple of minor tweaks. The app didn't spat split screen which would be handy to use a calculator or other app alongside it. Alternatively could you add a timeout function such that I am not logged out every time I tab to another app to get, for instance, somebody's bank details for a payment. Very frustrating if you don't have a pen and paper handy...

N70%
by N####:

Very handy to keep track of money on the go plus paying my family and friends has never been this quick and easy! Only problem is that if you have transferred money to a friend on a previous occasion, the details have to be re-entered again unless a desktop version of the website has been used to save those details. The app came in hand when I had forgotten my debit card at home once. It provided me with a code which I could use at an ATM machine nearby to withdraw money from!

Q70%
by Q####:

Love this app! It's incredibly handy to sort out quick payments and keep tabs on your balance. And it's intuitive too- fairly straightforward to check your balances, pay your contacts etc.

W70%
by W####:

Easy to use, all banking features available, manage multiple accounts and after installing this app I never logged in online banking website. It'll be good if they provide print statement from the device.

Q70%
by Q####:

They have ruined this app, I've emailed them twice asking them to undo their rubbish update, it was far better when you could see details within the transaction list, now each one has to be clicked then dragged up, makes seeing who has paid me a longer more boring chore. Constantly crashes after recent update.

Q70%
by Q####:

At first I wasn't sure if I would have much use for this, but it has become a valuable resource to help me keep track of my spending. It also saves the stress of having to use online banking on a computer. I can now check my bank balance on the move and find local cash points.

Q70%
by Q####:

Can do what's needed without leaving the house and online is easier than stood in queue all time 11/10 from me. Natwest 11* out of 10* for ur work

C70%
by C####:

Sadly I may have chosen to bank with natwest all based on the quality of this mobile app! 6 years later I still think it was the right move. This app is super useful. My only constructive criticism would be for it to handle interest information and rewards in-app rather than redirecting to website. Thanks again for an awesome, lifesaving app!
