Beep Test Official Army Police

Just tested it for myself. I did the official 6 monthly test last week and this one just now and there was little to no difference. Excellent app if you want to test yourself against the proper bleep test.

This app needs work. Halfway through the test, I accidentally closed the screen while running, thus it stopped. I realized after that there is a "work in background" option, so I'll take responsibility for not fully going through the app. Afterward, I restarted the test with it to work in the background only to find out it delays beeps and then speeds up. Tried it again, yet same results.

Im planning on joining the Military and I need to reach atleast lvl 6.1 on the beep test so i found this app and using it reguarly as I was very unfit in 2 weeks i can now go lvl 5.3. Really great app, Start Training now people!!!!

Good app just needs more like, an option that shortens the time between beeps as the levels get higher. Those are the beep tests I like. It is annoying to have the free one cause its time consuming to get out of it but good app all the same. (Have you got a beep test like that and what's it called if you do?)

I have to do a bleep test every year and now upto level 9.. and this app, like the last reviewer said..does exactly what it says..

The beep is too quiet, need to use a speaker.....but it doesnt work with a bluetooth speaker. Really awkward having to carry your phone while youre runnimg and not turn your screen off/press something.

I did this like everyday for 2 weeks my highest score was 16.8 laps. I lost 8 KILOGRAMS. this was great practice for me because I wanted to join ross country ND there will be a beep test first

Should be able to leave it on in your pocket. It kept stopping itself. Really annoying!

Doesn't work through bluetooth on my phone. Tried two devices and both miss the beep. Fix that and its a good app

If its accurate its good. Can't really tell :) I hadn't done the beep test in a year last time in got 8.6 and today I got 10.4

Noise level won't go up so unless hold to ear no use without a speaker attached. Using HTC

Does what it says on the tin. Though for some reason I'm having issues turning the volume up and down (my phone keep turning up the ringtone volume as opposed to the apps)

Lacking any features you'd get in a free app of this kind. Only provides a level count, no 1.5, no way of saving, no background UNLESS you pay. I wouldn't recommend this app.

Accidentally hit another but mid session, session terminates screwing your score

It's a beep test can only do so much

It's really useful but I may delete and go look for another version that I can move to my sd card. I need the space on my device memory.

A good app but having to pay to save results is a buzz kill as i cant measure results. Will use ADF app as it is free

Need to be able to set distance and what your target Level is as I am training for the UK police so need it to be more suitable for that.

I think that you may need to be familiar with the test before using the app. If you have done it before or have to do it for professional reasons it's a useful measure of progress or likely result. Measuring the 20m course is important to ensure consistency. I checked the interval timing against the one my organisation uses and, within the margin of error of a wrist stopwatch it's the same. It could do with the countdown being voiced, and a notes section on the saved result but apart from that its fine.

It followed the right scale. Timings work out as expected. If people put as much time into using it as they do pointlessly complaining about it... they would be alot fitter....its a 20m not the highschool 15m, those bitching about timing might wanna check "Their Usual" distances. Works a treat!

The beeps change pace throughout each of the levels and are not set at the same pace as the actual test used by the emergency services. I can hit level 11 comfortably on this yet struggling to reach level 9 on the real one. Not to be trusted

Do not use this if you are training for something that requires a certain level! I'm training for a 9.2 test and on this app it is a gentle jog. Realistically it should be far quicker and is no way near the proper pace. Don't bother with this app! Useless.

I'm joining the police, so when I found out a month ago I needed to do a beep test to pass. To start with I was out of shape and unfit as I only ever walk and lift weights. A combination of jogging most of the way to work each day, eating healthy and doing this beep test each day has resulted in me losing a stone and today passing my beep test. It's not perfect but great as a guideline as to what pace to start with in the early levels and used to the test. 15m option would be good though for Accuracy.

Doesnt call out levels and doesnt work if your screen turns off

It beggars belief that there is not a 'how to use' section in the app.

Pace is misleading. Did 4.5 on my first real test and did level 10 on the app. Yeah ok. No improvement that amazing in 2 days. App is just not correct.

I went to a different soccer club and they did the beep test and it was hard for me so I got this beep test and it improved me all lot so five stars

Biggest waste of money yet, can't seem to find my saved results. I've reinstalled it and still no luck.

Helped me get fit, fitness is not a gift you have to earn it

He was tired when he got 5.4, So he had a rest!

Only thing that would make it better is an option to change the amount of laps before the level change

I need to get fitter and this is a great app as it is something my school does a lot so it helps practice and im play football so it helps get me fitter and faster

The app world's great except for the fact that there is no audio. The use voice option is on and my volume is up but there is still no sound.

No volume control for the beep (volume too low) also would be nice to record scores in a calender form otherwise good

Very good app. Very reliable. I have measures up to level 8 and timings are the same a wikipedia. So all good
