Resilio Sync

After updating to Resilio device (Samsung tablet) boy able to connect to laptop. I gone through this problem with my 2 other devices a couple of months ago, retried until one day out decided to work. Yesterday trying to set it up for my husband's decide, same thing happen again.

This has made my life so easy. I can sync my entire music collection over LAN , backup my pictures over both LAN and internet. The control it provides is amazing. I can even tell it to overwrite files using the remote copy if the file has changed somehow. Encrypted transfers are also possible. I love this.

Had this installed for 5 minutes then deleted. Couldn't upload an entire album it wanted me to click individually on pictures. If it is able to do an entire album... It's too complicated to figure out. Not user friendly.

Extreme battery drain on Android O. This app alone used 71% of the battery in 7 hours. Had to disable it, which improved battery life a lot. Was not like this until today.

Good app. Last few updates have made it not function though. If i open a folder in sync, it just says loading for the first half hour or so. Also won't allow you to exit.

The best app for file syncing and sharing hands down. Keeps all my devices synced brilliantly, plus tons of features. I also use this as a personal cloud storage with my raspberry pi. Love this app. Would probably die without it.

Stuck on welcome to sync page... After hitting the get started button, nothing comes up... Everything idle... I wonder how to start using this... Also, why on the computer does it have to work on browsers and not stand alone application?

No way to select a folder from cd card for sync on my Xiaomi phone. It might be MIUI 8 problem as I tried the application with 2 MIUI 7 and it worked fine with sd card. Anyway other applications like Dropbox work well with cd card on my phone that makes me think something wrong about Resilio.

Fantastic peer to peer syncing app. I was able to set up sync between folders on my laptop (Windows 10) and OnePlus 5 in no time at all and data has been syncing seamlessly and quickly. I set up one folder to sync songs from my laptop to my phone - Sync is making sure all songs it syncs are showing up in the gallery immediately as well. Similarly, I set up folders to backup photos from phone to laptop - and the full resolution photos are immediately available on the laptop the moment both are on the wireless network. Highly recommended!

Good app when it works at the moment it is crashing with no errors or warnings, just stops. Support have not given me any support or reason as to why this happens. When it is fixed 5 star, but till then 3. Please fix!!!

Perfect companion even replacing nu laptop. I will now continue to use it. Sometimes confusing though..

Only used it a bit but works very well with exceptions. I knocked off a start because their license plan seems a bit off. For example it's listed for non business use but if you're a single developer with a code repository to sync the home plan makes better sense. However you would possibly be violating the license terms. The business plan without storage limits users to two devices. Another start was knocked off because of its nature TMobile blocks its use. You have to link up via WiFi or vpn your traffic to get past TMobile firewall. So except for the things the service works and works well.

Is it possible to make a file placeholder in Android that can be recognized by the common file manager apps? Not only by resilio apps...Just like in Windows, the file which yet downloaded visible in file explorer...Thank you.

Great app for sync multiple files really annoying to manage premium membership as it gets locked to a device even if that device no longer exists

App is draining my battery even with battery save enabled. Server side code on Raspberry Pi lacks good documentation and have had to fix many times to keep running. Until battery drain is fixed i am unable to use on my Mobile devices!

Could not even connect my pc with pro, scan the QR, tried 3 times. Useless app

It's the best app to backup your personal files, huge files and transfer files that email services won't let you attach. All this without leaving your things stored on a server. It is just fantastic.

Resilio Sync is a fantastic toll that provides a method to mirror files to a back up system and to provide full access through phone or tablet to desktop files. The interface is well designed. Support is excellent.

Downloaded on Android and PC laptop windows 7. LINK DEVICE on Laptop does not work.

The greatest and simplest app for this day and age where everything must be synced,too bad that the linux version is hard to setup,but I understand those are linux quirks at fault and not the wonderful devs not caring about the platform!

From time to time brakes my photos. So I should backup my files if I want to share it by this app

Used resilio sync on the desktop for years, decided to try it to sync my photos and videos to a desktop. Worked wonderfully and faster than a USB cable.

This is great for backing up things and not having to think about it. Works great in the background and doesn't drain battery.

Absolutely love it. It's a great gallery back-up when you need to get more space for videos. Works perfectly.

Extremely useful for keeping files in many places without hassle, and out of the clutches of Google and other big corps.

9/10 Amazingly fast and incredible that this is free. Simply needs quicker way to get folders setup

MAAAAAAN. WHY HAVE I JUST DISCOVERED THIS NOW?

I used this to replace Dropbox. Now I get to keep control of my own information.

Can not connect with PC because PC app does nothing on "link device".

Works well. Using it with a Synology NAS.

My devices can be synchronized now via WiFi, very helpful.

Cannot live without this.

Great little app, works perfectly for it's intended purposes.
