Roadtrippers - Trip Planner

Super glitchy, crashes constantly, and it's very un-user friendly. The feautures to see what's around you don't seem to work how they should. Also uses a TON of data and drains my battery life, which will not be okay while I drive 4000+ miles through the southwest and California in a unreliable truck. You need to have a working phone, which this app doesn't allow. On the other hand, the features that do work work well, but all reviews and locations seem to be quite outdated. Overall, I want to uninstall but I can't seem to find a better app. Google Trips doesn't quite do what I need it to do, so I'm kind of stuck.

It's a good app to see what's around, but I don't think it's been updated in a very long time!! Most of the places were added 2-5 years ago! No way to correct it either. The website itself is useful though.

The app is pretty good. Not too bad. I like how it shows all the goodies along the way. But can you PLEASE get something happening so we can share our trips on Android. Please?!?!

So far I'm enjoying using this app in partnership with the website. It's half crashed a couple times but nothing serious. The only odd things I've encountered are on two of my trips it calculated gas and the other two it didn't and yet all trips were started on the website. The other is that when looking at restaurants or attractions in the app I have overall ratings but no reviews. That could be that there really aren't any reviews in which case "I CAN FIX THAT!", or they just aren't showing which is dumb but not the end of the world.

Whenever I try to view things the app is super slow and won't load them. Also when looking for points of intrest on my route the app never loads them. This app could be amazing if they fixed all the bugs. I'd happily pay 10$ for this app if it worked.

I love that I can choose a destination & the app will show everything along the way. With kids having stops to get out, stretch, and walk around are important! This way we can also sightsee too! World's largest ball of twine, here we come! LoL

I love the app, but damn is it buggy. It doesn't load trips and when it does sometimes, no data is loaded. Side note, when you try to log in for the first time on your device, it doesn't give you any feedback about an invalid password/username, it just sits on the login screen. Big disappointment.

worst app ever! Not user friendly, not able to search locally not able to do anything unless you do it on the computer first. Hard to transfer trips to phone. All in all not worth the effort. A 5th grader could come up with an easier app than this.

When picking stores or services to display, the app fails to erase the initial screen. Text is then displayed on text. Could you display travel speed, speed limit, warning speed (curves), stop signs.

Nice interface and features, but requires a calculator for use with International units. Given that the conversion calculations can be easily done in the app, it's a sign of either laziness or lack of interest in the worldwide audience. In any case, don't bother.

Great app. Worked much better and more smoothly than the alternatives I've found. Give you a great idea of what to do on your road trip by easily displaying/hiding different kinds of activities/facilities. Recommend!

It doesn't find a simple place or post code in England (UK). It looks like it has been set up for US. Great concept but it doesn't look like it is working. I couldn't find how to send feedback :/

Would be good, but crashes so much (on two different devices!) that it's almost unusable. Also uses a bit of battery while it's in the background - not sure why, because it doesn't seem to do anything useful when it's in the background. Also encountered some weird glitches, where it'll say there are no results in an area, until I kill and restart the app, then it finds heaps in the same area. Fix those and it'll be great.

Can't search for anything and really hard to use. The pictures above show all these cool features but I can't access any of that except for a map view on the app.

I tried to customize the types of things on the map the app would show and despite not having checked things like Camping or Accomodations, the app still insists on showing them on the map. It's super difficult to figure out what's around when all you're trying to do is move around the things you don't need.

Amazing app nothing else quite as good. I have used this app for fast planning for emergencys and it has literally saved mine and my girlfriends life. I have also used it to plan a vacation and it saved me allot of time and hastel.

Unable to edit mpg and vehicle type. Tried support and it seems the directions are out of date with app updates. Tried applying directions through mobile app, web app, and online. Unable to do so.

Great idea but very clunky and slow. It won't add any locations in Wyoming to my trip which is kinda important.

I wish could mpg on my Android phone. Then woyld really happy. I do like choices of accommodations - Camping is great

Couldn't set route the way I wanted, couldn't search for things by city...basically worthless. Better off searching outside of app :/

This app keeps crashing. I'd love to give you 5 stars when it stays open for more than 5 minutes so i can get back to planning my 3000 mile road trip.

How do I change the course of a trip? How can I remove all the subway restaurants from popping up? I don't eat that crap

Impossible to use. Navigation makes no sense. I tried for 30 solid minutes to plan one trip. Uninstaling before I throw my phone against the wall.

I love this app and it's companion site. The best for discovering new things to do on a road trip.

Cant adjust gas millage. Tutorial on the website is outdated and useless

Provides some cool history about surrounding areas, even if you're not travelling

Planning the trip on this app is almost more fun than going on one

I use this app for all our road trips it is awesome.

Does this do anything? I open it and see the logo, but several minutes later nothing has happened... just the logo.

No impressed and their privacy policy is attrocious.
