Perfect Viewer

I used to love this app, but lately the zoom function is not working as it used to. It used to disable all the other functions until you disabled it, but now I can't zoom in on a specific part without turning the page or something. It's frustrating. That would be my only complaint about this app. Otherwise, it's the best comic reader I've found.

Excellent functionality. Once you get used to where the different buttons in the screen are, you can do an amazing amount of functions without having to go into menus. Images are nice and sharp, good color balance, fast and easy to navigate and perfect compatibility with all the standard comic formats, including PDF once you download the plugin. I've been cycling among all the different comic viewers looking for one that gives me a good balance of performance, ease of use and functionality, and I believe this one to be the winner. Excellent job. Edit: I just discovered it has ebook functionality too! Awesome!

Omg the ugly! Other than that, it's the perfectly functional comic book reader. I recommend everyone to try it out. I'm going for ComicRack for now though.

Garbage...couldn't read any ebook (epub) file without the app immediately closing on me due to an unexpected error.

Love this app's configurability! I wish you could adjust the size of the thumbnails though. My hi-res tablets end up with tiny thumbnails.

This is a 5 stars app. Great performance, no ads and practical. The only one thing I think you could change is its appearance. The menu is a bit old-fashioned. Could be a good idea modernize it. If change that I'll give 10 stars

I used to REALLY like this app, but recently it seems to be really slow and buggy. If I double tap to zoom, it first zooms WAYYYY out and when I double tap a few more times it finally zooms. Fling gesture keeps re-enabling itself no matter how many times I turn it off and it's choppy when zoomed in and scrolling around screen. Actually the only reason I can think to keep using this is the fact that I donated and get the auto color perk which is actually really awesome and I can't seem to find another program that does it quite like this one does.

Does everything I expect it to do and then some. Has some odd quirks, but fewer than the competition. Handles external SD cards superbly. Crashes spectacularly sometimes, but not often enough for it to be anything but a slight nuisance. Switched to this app from ComicRack after the dev couldn't be arsed to add proper support for external storage. I have yet to regret the switch. Two years on, still pleased with the switch.

It's a good app, but the development is a pain i.t.a. All the time something breaks, or new features arrive like being untested. You have to live with a broken tool, permanently. The developer has given up on listening to user's complaints, simply won't answer. Apparently, recently, he even stopped fixing bugs at all, only adding features, without testing in advance. Overloaded with features that won't work properly, the app is something you wouldn't like to use. There are a number of free open source tools much better than this paid one.

The widget function doesn't seem to work right now. Otherwise, I loved this app. It's great for my comics in .cbr format

The best comic reader out there. I've tried almost all of them but I always come back to PV.

Buggy on Nougat. Sometimes when you zoom in, the app will bug out. This needs to be fixed as it's insanely annoying.

I just love perfect viewer. It views images, even those in zip and rar archives. The new in-app icon look lovelier than before.

Update broke it. opening files using file browser... returns file not found.
