Nymbler baby name finder

Could have been great, but every time I tried to use it a window popped up saying "trouble connecting with server, try again later." After about 20 tries I gave up. Definitely not a connectivity issue on my end so I don't know what's wrong with the app development.

Was working great for less than an hour now every time I open it it says can't connect to network. My phone is connected and has no issues. App has a bug or something

I love the app and how it gives names based on what you star and that the names are random and not in alphabetical order. However, it ALWAYS gives me an alert about not being able to connect to the server. Therefore, I can't search for names. If this were to be fixed, I'd rate it a 5.

I love the idea of this app but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I'm confronted with the "cannot connect to server" error message EVERY time I open it and EVERY time i select names. I would love this app if it worked even half the time, but as it stands, I don't have the patience for this.

I'm not having technical problems with this app at all. It is a little harder to navigate in some areas than the website (probably just because I am not used to it yet) but overall I love it and will keep playing with it.

This was recommended to me and I thought what a great idea for an app. After only selecting a handful of names I'm now stuck in server error hell. Looking back over previous reviews and I can't believe the server errors are still occurring 2 years later. Probably wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

This is a really cool idea. Every now and then I'd get a "problem connecting to server" error, but now it's practically every single time I open the app and it's essentially useless now.

Still has problems connecting to server, after a few uses. Seems like it might be a rate limiting problem, as I was able to switch from WiFi to LTE, and got it to work again (at least temporarily). Otherwise the best baby name app I've found yet.

I've been getting the same server error that other users have complained about. Which means I can't set it to just give me girl names. Also I think I broke the app by blocking too many names because the first half of the list it gives me when I open the app is names I've blocked. Also you shouldn't add made up names. They're not words, just like you wouldn't add any random words that I decided to make up if you had a dictionary app.

I just really wish it saved your place when you open a new window as you are scrolling. Because you can spend 30min scrolling through these random names, then go to answer a text or look up a name, etc, and when you come back to the list you are back at the beginning. Or at least you see the same names being cycled though over again. I feel like the names it suggests aren't really similar to the favorites or "inspirations", it's all just kinda random. But it's still fairly useful for brainstorming.

First hour of the app, awesome! It effectively let's you take names off the list so you make progress. After about the first hour, the app hasn't been able to connect to the server for the last three days, which prevents it from suggesting names or otherwise doing anything.

Gives good suggestions, but has error connecting to Internet (even if you are connected) & won't load more names. So, it's great.. while it works. They need to fix this.

It crashes all the time! I'd give it a 0 if I could

It keeps telling me it's having server issues & can't connect. I like that it's recommending names but barely any bc of the issues

Was able to use app for about an hour then got message that not able to access server. Useless if doesn't work.

It's a great idea, but the more names you exclude from the search the harder it is to connect to the database until finally it becomes impossible.

It freezes up after I go through a few names. If it functioned correctly it would be a great app.

The app itself is fun and easy to use, but I received multiple server error messages every time I attempted to filter names. This issue has been annoying. Since I used other apps after receiving these messages without any errors and I have a full wireless service connection each time, I believe the problem is in the app itself. Overall it is very fun and helpful, but it needs to be tweaked a bit to get a 5 from me.

I would love the app its super easy to use how ever I get a message on the screen every 30 seconds saying server error try again later. I uninstalled!

I love this app, I love being able to favorite names, dislike names so they no longer show up, and enter in my own name inspirations. What I don't like is the constant Server Connection errors. I know it isn't my network or my wifi, it's them. And it happens within 5 or so minutes of using this app every single time. So beware! In many ways the best naming app out there, imo, except for that one problem.

It's always crashing so that's why I rated it 1 star. Also I was hoping for new name ideas not just the ones I hearted...

I LOVE the concept of the app but even with updates and reinstalling, it still doesn't connect to the server properly and doesn't save what I've done. I find it unusable.

Good amount of names, but keep getting "server error". And names that I've blocked still appear on lists, not sure the point of blocking, if they're not going to be blocked? Will update rating when server error is fixed.

Love the app and love the names but server keeps crashing which is frustrating. It would get 5/5 otherwise :)

I like the idea behind this app, I've even used the website. But the app keeps telling me it can't connect to the server, so I never get any new names. I've also sent an email about this with no response.

Unfortunately it just doesn't work. Continues to say it cannot connect to server. It worked for the first ten minutes but every time since then it will not connect.

But it no longer connects to server. Probably going to just save the list of names I like in a note, which is what I was doing before, and delete.

As I'm a budding writer I constantly need names for characters, I've used most apps out there and this is by far my favourite.

Would be fine if it could connect.... "Problem connecting to the server, please try again later " After reading some other comments, this app is not worth the time.

Pointless if you add favourites etc but have to reinstall because of server connection issues. There is a bug somewhere.

I love the Nymbler website, and used to search for this app before it was made. I have been using it for some time with nothing but success! I love it! Update: I never get any errors.

Every time I use it I get a cannot connect to server error and then it won't load any names. Please fix this issue.

This app hasn't worked since the first 5 minutes after I installed it. I like the idea, but I keep getting "internal server error" messages.

I keep getting errors that it won't connect to the server, so it won't pull up any new names. No matter what I try (restarting, exiting program, ect) nothing works. Good concept, crappy function.

Since the moment I have downloaded this app I keep getting an error msg saying "can not connect to server" - what a waste of time.
