Samsung Smart View

As of right now its useless. Pictures cast to TV are tiny with a huge black on all sides, and not viewable. Before updates I used to be able to see my pics in full resolution on the tv. Terrible. Untill fixed, avoid this app.

App is at this point is spotty at best. It will work for a few moments and disconnect. If you happen to be controlling the volume during the disconnect God help you because your volume will go up to max in a hurry and you will need to reconnect to get it down. Very ineffective for the most basic commands.

The Samsung Smart View App on my Samsung phone says my Samsung Television does not support screen view, yet my Samsung tablet has no problem connecting the same Television using this same App. All pieces of equipment are within 2 years of each other and I have updated the App from the Playstore. I have also disconnected the tablet from the telavision and cleared it's memory . So its not a reliable app across the platform on there own devices. Poor developing......But the good news is downloading the app named (screen mirroring assistant ) rated 3.8 stars does work correctly using the phone to Telavision connection.

Used to love this app. Used it almost everyday to view photos on my TV. The second to last update totally ruined the app. Since then the app has reduced the quality off all my photos. I waited paitently for the next update, but still the problem persists. The photos on my phone are great quality but when you view them of the app, the quality is greatley reduced. When you put them onto the TV screen, the quality is so poor, they are unviewable.

After that last update, now it deserves a 5 star rating. "Registered as a Foreground Service to address Wi-Fi disconnection after 10 mins in sleep mode so that Video and Music are stop playing" Thank you

Doesn't work anymore. Just says failed to connect because theyre not on the same network even though both are on the same network. Online solutions require you to go change settings in router, not doing that. Oh well.

Used to work great. But the last week my phone won't connect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Reset my router. Disconnected the Internet on the TV and reconnected and nothing works.

this asking Wi-Fi password in my mobile for tv.. I call customers services and ask tv Wi-Fi password.. they telling there is no WiFi password for tv.. my tv model is UA40H4250AR and my mobile model is Samsung On7 Pro.. I'm easily connecting in Wi-Fi direct without password.. but for screening app ..this app asking tv wifi password to connect. what is tv password? how can I connect..?

Thanks for separating the videos and photos. And also for fixing the playback issue while phone is asleep. That was the biggest issue for me

Since latest update it has become more stable with less disconnects. Still the occasional disconnects which is why I'm giving it three stars.

Add Jio TV app and add Keyboard in remote. Can't type in remote while using youtube search bar. It's will disconnect while in casting video. Message display connection disconnect. Pls fix it

Works great. Sometimes when screen mirroring you may have to long tap your device to prompt a password. Figured that out by accident.

How do you take a great app that performs so well and screw it up soooo bad?!? I can't jump ahead in a video or it will immediately disconnect. I have to use the fast forward at a frustrating 3x fast forward. Such a pain in the ass!

Works only with files on phone and also it's soooooo sloooooow. Can't do anything to add youtube or else (it is on screenshots at play market).

It works great for our curve and it's very convenient she I misplace the very small and impractical remote o hate the remote that came with the t.v.

This app won't connect to a Samsung 6100 smart TV. Since Samsung took screen mirroring from its features you cannot display anything from mobile devices on a 6100 TV

You have to turn on the TV before the app recognizes the TV on your phone. Even my Vizio TV can be turned on using the app.

Doesn't work no matter what network I switch to it says no t.vs found

Hot a new Galaxy S8 and wont work with my Samsung tv. Worked with my Galaxy 6 new phone gets nothing

2 out of 10 times it connects with my phone but lately it doesn't connect. Tried turning my tv off and on, restarting the app, restarting my phone, check my Wi-Fi connecting, no luck.

I have samsung S7edge and it Won't connect to any of my Samsung Tv's. The S7 Doesn't have an infra red eye.

After update "No TV's found" and yes all devices are on same network. Resetting connection does not help...

Why cannot find my tv?

Please: 1-Re-design it for streaming smart TV to phone for better hearing. 2-Re-design Apk icon like Galaxy S8 icons.
