Connect Drive

plain simple.. usb stick that is meant to be used, among other things, with my phone.. so why is location REQUIRED if stick is mine? when i deny to allow app to use location i cant use it since app wont start unless i allow someone snooping where am i. is wd going to send me free stick as beta tester? cos then id like 200gb stick and then you can monitor my location even on wc

If you could be connected to a WiFi network & be connected to this stick I'd give it a 5 Star Review but since it does not than it's only gettin 3...& that even mayB too high for as much money as this was. I thought the wireless capability would justify the higher cost but since you can't B connected to a WiFi network while bein connected to the stick..it's only worth half of what I paid for it. I coulda found a regular thumb drive with 10X's the storage for half of what I paid fir this. 128GB's isn't as much space anymore these days.

Knocks out any other WiFi connection. If my phone can't connect to my local network, what good is that? On PC the webpage for support days to first connect to the drive, then it can no longer access the page with instructions and support. What's the use of that? Stupid waste of money, ALLOT of money. Don't waste yours.

I think this is a good app but i wish it gave an in app tutorial. I say this because i wanted to transfer all my files and delete them off my phone and hadn't realized that i only transferred my videos, meaning all my videos got deleted. I did back them up prior to that but that app use should be explained better.

I spent so much not to access just images. It doesn't play all video formats or plays with no sound. Why for heaven's sake can we not use other apps or players to access the files on this. And Although it says but wifi doesn't work with this device connected. Dissapointed and cheated

It works pretty much as described and there is help if you click Show Advanced in wifi. I noticed a great loss in detail in transferred photos, which is unacceptable to me.

App works well but not the best for playing music. Needs wma support can only play one wma at a time. Will play mp3s just fine. Also can't get Wi-Fi and connection to flash drive at same time to work.

It is good for media purpose only. Not useful for office work because you have to download it on your ipad or phone first to edit. I wish the interface will be like just a normal thumbdrive that you could drag and drop.

Is it really worth the money. Tutorials say u can transfer from usb to phone. But there is no option on app. Again have to use both, then whats the use of buying this pricey piece

When the app isn't installed, it connects just fine to the stick WiFi. Install the app and it connects for less than a second, off, on, off, on, off. Load the app, realise you have to give it your location for NO REASON then it comes up with a banner saying no connection. Behind the "no connection" is a completely correct list of what's on the drive, so obviously it is indeed connected, but won't let me see anything. Update:one successful connection (can't do it again without deleting and reinstalling app) copied files to device but cannot find them. They will play in the app in a terrible media player that won't background play, play subtitles or do any of the things I moved them to the device FOR.

Nice app but not the best one... Some time it lacks... Some time videos don't play like normal it lacks and slows down... The flash drive is awesome device... But not this app... But you cant do anything... Bad or good you have to use this particular app... You don't have any other choice!!! This sucks!!!!

wasted 40 dollars on this drive. cannot transfer a file folder android. can transfer each file in the folder. completely pointless. easier with a regular thumb drive. when is technology actually going to work? would rate a negative 100 stars if I could.

There's a typo on What's New Version 1.4.3, it should be "features", not "featurs". Please check any spellings and/or grammars before releasing an update. Otherwise, I'll give 5 stars

SanDisk Connect Drive app connects easily to my wireless stick. Both wireless hotspot and Internet & Connect Drive (as device connected my 2.4G network) work seamlessly. I recommend SanDisk Connect Drive to anyone who needs to backup their smartphone if it isn't OTG capable.

It connects to my android phone (ZTE ZMAX) but not long enough to actually do anything (3 seconds). Please help me connect Edit: This has deleted or made unavailable some of my pictures and videos stored inside it

Is not read by TV and car stereo. I bought it for the purpose of moving the videos etc from my phone to a flash drive which I could watch on TV or listen to the music on car stereo. It does not do both. This should be fixed through a software update to make it useful in practical scenarios of life. My TV supports HDDs with Fat, exFat and NTFS system.

It doesn't connect automatically in my known network. What I'm doing is to forgot my own wifi network first and reconnect it again by the use of the app to be able to connect the sandisk drive.

We used this to save all our photos while on a month long Europe trip. Worked perfectly between Android, IOS and windows. Best way for us to share photos and keep all the high resolution images while on vacation. Now I keep this in my backpack always to carry photos and music while keeping my phone memory clear, allows me to buy phones with smaller memory.

I've had the stick for a couple of years now it's ok, sorta gimmicky. My only real question.... why is the Apk for what should be minimal instructions, and very minimal gui assets 30 MBs? !?

I can not connect to the internet using. I also can't get it to keep a stable connection. No problem connecting through a browser so I have to conclude it's the app The problem is consistent on 2 different routers. I've changed to every available channel. I've sent a support email and a message on FB with no response.

Purchased device to store photos and it works very well. I am in my 50s. Not very computer savvy but was able to use this device easily. Would recommend it highly for the price. Saw it on amazon prime day at the discounted rate of 54 dollars for a 128 gig. It was well worth it.

Why location... I'm not going to share my location for access a USB drive wirelessly​. Then I can't use it, what's the point to have one.

Images are not fully rendered when viewed; it completely makes this device useless for photos aside from just storing them.

Hi, When we try to connect this client to internet in Enterprise wifi network, some times I see SanDisk USB client is getting blocked with the reason as printer devices, when I debug this the SanDisk USB DHCP request option 55 is wrong(it is sending as trendnet print server device) pls fix this issue

The wireless thumb drive erased the images I backed up. Very disappointed. I've always used SanDisk products for my photography needs but this one is a heartbreaker.

What a junk. The app just stayes grayed out can't push any buttons or functions! Why can't it be used with android only ?? Will send that USB back! Got it going but you alwasy need app to connect :-( also I think pc!

Purchased a 200GB wireless stick and the app tells me the sd card is unsupported. How did I use my wireless stick?

Userinterface is not good Dnld from the preset ways is only possible not otherwise but once u start using it u start liking it

Setup is a breeze now. everything working. Can also stream from the stick to the Chromecast device. Works well with Nexus 5 and Nexus 7

It cannot be used to transfer a folder as such to the connected devices.

I am unable to open it in the app. It says incorrect password. I tried many times. How can I change my password?

There is no reason for this app to need location permission. Why the hell do you need to know where im at?

Liked it. Versatile, so long as you take it as it is. There's really no point in complaining that it doesn't do this or that. It does what is meant to do - connect the stick wirelessly.

Wifi gets blocked... Forced to route internet

Nowadays it's quite outdated, well I have it.

It does not get connected to the wifi

Tranfer over FTP or other way to transfer files and internet connection does not work while connected
