Search tips:
All products have been classified in categories such as bread, milk, pasta, cheese, nuts, fish etc. The following are some search examples:
- White bread - search ‘bread, white’
- Skimmed milk - search ‘milk, skim’
- Spaghetti - ‘pasta, spaghetti, white’
- Feta cheese - search ‘cheese, feta’
- Almonds - search ‘nuts, almonds’
- Salmon - search ‘fish, salmon’

When searching a product, in some cases, you will notice that the drop down menu will contain items in alphabetical order, so you will need to scroll down until you reach the product you were looking for.

The 'Cereals' database includes brand names too, so if you are looking for All Bran, please search, ‘cereals, Kellogg’s All-Bran original’.

We also included brand name specific searches for Burger King, Campbell’s Chick-fill-A, Cold Stone Creamy, Prego pasta, Starbucks, Tesco Finest and more.

We are constantly updating the database. However, if you could not find a specific product, please use the feed-back button and send us your request so that we could include it and thus further enriching the database.

Would like it if we could filter the search field to show just single ingredients as most of the brand name mixes are not available in nz and you need to scroll through heaps of these to find what you are actually looking for. Also a number of raw single ingredients aren't in the database which can make it frustrating when trying to get an accurate result. Good start though

Not enough information on what it's tracking and why. Not enough foods listed in the database. Not setup very user-friendly when browsing through food database

I like the app though more steps are involved for non-metric users (referring to another nutrition app and the internet to figure out how many ounces an item is that's not generally measured in ounces). When I created a profile using the metric setting, I still had to use another nutrition app that listed both the serving size I'm familiar with (in the US) and the corresponding gram amount. I'm sure it's much easier for someone who uses the metric system regularly.

Tidy app, can use it to find GL for genetic items, but not efficient for day to day use- emailed suggestions to the devs

I love this.

There are several items in this app I found to be alkaline and it reports it as acidic. I get better guidelines cooking from Natasha Corrett's books.

Best found could use more explanation on what is being tracked. Would like to review past week. So far can only see today. Would like to see more listings for raw and uncured. Maybe a calculator section for unlisted items.
