About Frets

Frets helps you learn which notes you're playing on the guitar fretboard by quizzing you for 60 seconds at a time.

Improve your fluidity and speed identifying notes up and down the guitar neck and compare scores with your friends.

Watch your skills improve over time. Just a few minutes a day will improve your knowledge of the guitar fretboard and make it easier to figure out which notes you're playing.

A 22 fret guitar neck with 6 strings carries 132 possible notes. Learn them all intuitively by heart by playing Frets.

A simple note testing game, quick and simple, enjoyable for what it does. What I'd like to see: * 12fret double dot marker * Ability to change note marker colour * Option to set 1st or both octaves * Option for bass (2 less strings) * (for others) left hand option

No lefty love?

This is probably a fantastic tool for guitarists but it's not so useful for bassists, like myself. It does have a really nice looking UI, though. Nice work!

Would be great to have option of switching between sharps and flats

the fretboard does not look like the screenshot on my tablet. Strings are actually very wide and ugly. No 12th fret dot. Zero options. Not enough choices when picking the note which makes it too easy. No ads though!

It assumes knowledge of the full fret board. It would be great to allow limitations to certain string(s) and upper and lower limits on frets. That would allow someone to customize and drill down to an area they are weak in and gradually expand to the full fret board over time.

No nonsense: if you don't know your frets you will be bluntly dismissed when your time is up. Actually, you will even if you do know your frets! I suggest a more positive message when you beat your record. The main suggestion though is a way of reviewing the mistakes I made because often I don't know where I went wrong. Great app.

B70%
by B####:

This would be a great app for testing yourself if you already know the entire fretboard, but it is useless for learning the fretboard as there is no way to limit it to certain strings or frets.

Nice idea, I would suggest a setting to play the audio for each note.
