Gaugefy: Knitting Gauge

Super simple to use!

Started getting error "gap" this, "gap" that messages when would open app. Uninstalled.

This looks like it would be extremely useful, however I agree with the other reviewer when they say its asking for unnecessary permissions. I can not see ANY reason to need to read & modify my calls or my contacts .... ?!?! I get the phone status bit, the app has to realize a call is coming so that it allows the call to come through but why free network access? All its doing is calculating gauges for me. Along with my location ?!?!! Unless they have plans to add a yarn shop finder to it I can see NO reason as to why they would need to know my location. Maybe they should take that off until they add that if they are even planning on doing something like that. As far as I am concerned the novelty of the app and the ease of use don't make it worth the invasive permissions they are asking for. NO INSTALL :/ bummer , because it looked like it would be a really useful and neat app to use.

Why are all the permissions needed for knitting app

Immediately spewed out a dozen error messages. Instant uninstall.

Too many permissions. Invasive. Otherwise it might be a great app.

This application works great! However, it requires so many permissions to personal settings like contacts and the like. Please remove these privacy permissions, or explain why we have too have them. Until then, having this app is like waiting for your phone to explode in your hand.

Why on earth would this app require all these special permissions? Sort out privacy settings! Uninstalling again.

I am glad someone has created an app lile this! :) Just a week ago I had to calculate several sizes to stitches and rows, and it took me at least an hour... now the next time will be much easier. :)
