Shift Messenger

I love this app, makes my job easier and it allows my employees to communicate with each other without giving their phone numbers out.

I am so amazed at what this app can do. The support is LIVE and on time. I'd highly recommend this app to any manager that would like to bring a little more excellence into their workplace.

Update: the app developer reached out to me and was able to resolve all of the issues we were experiencing. 5 stars, great app! I think it's a great idea but needs some work. Notifications are spotty, sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't. It also has issues "connecting to the internet," at least that's what it says even though no other app is having issues connecting.

This app has been amazing for us. It has helped improve communication in our restaurant through the group chats available and the private messages. It has also almost eliminated that pesky phone call to find out what time an employee works with its schedule sharing feature. The support team is also great, the few times that I have ran into any minor problems they were able to assist me very quickly and professionally.

The best management type app I've seen ! Very user friendly with a great set up. Support response is very quick and readily available, quickly fixed an issue on my end. Thanks a lot!

Can't delete messages at all with coworkers I have at all won't let me

Pretty useful

We stopped using this a while ago, but I'm thinking about getting back into it. I still don't have a way to remove people from the Managers group. Some people got put in it automatically, and if you click on edit group, it just let's you add people, but not remove. I need to have more control over what people can so ob the app.

I need help loging in I previously had the app and it somehow kicked me out I already called and emailed support and Noone is helping.. Francisco solis

Our store wanted us to use it. It works exactly as needed and designed. It will help us communicate and post shifts and get that approval much more quickly!

It won't let me type anything out like my email address, just numbers for my phone number. To verify my number and it keeps saying invalid....

I can't log in let alone sign up

I can't change my profile picture at all it crashes every time I try do so, and i wish i could but otherwise a good app

I think we should be able to delete old conversations that we have with people.

The app is now working for me! Seems like a nice easy to use app.

You guys keep sending me the same code over and over again and the codes you do send me are either invalid or expired, it also says it has trouble connecting to the internet, witch is wierd because I have full bars

If your employer actually allows you to use it, it's very convenient

Lets us all keep in touch, share schedules & get shifts covered.

I would like for administration to be able to see when someone reads a message

It's good but why can't I delete old messages?

It would be nice to only add certain people to a group and not have uninvited people join in. At my job we have teams and I like to send my team messages and it actually posts as non-private which everyone can see it. An upgrade is in order.

Besides needing a huge phone its the bomb

Love this app for my store. Love the improvements. Need to give more feedback. Is there a way on the app to do that?

I can not find or exchange my work location. I looked up my store and it is not in here. I figured out a way to create it, but I can not exchange the location in the app with coworkers. They are unable to search it. My previous store used this app so I know it should work. Also, sending texts and notifications is a little much.

There needs to be a hierarchy between admins. Mangers should have top level administration stuff but there should be a lower tier for supervisors or shift leaders. I also don't see any feature of shift conversion which would be nice to include. An example would be person A works six hours and wants to switch with someone, person B offers to switch one of their three hour shifts. Person A gets a glance summary of what the difference on hours/etc would be for them if they accepted the shift switch.

I wore a review about an issue I was having and the developer not only responded to it in here, he emailed me, and called to get as much info about the issue as possible. I have never heard of a developer with THAT sort of dedication. Since we spoke, it seems the issue has been fixed, and the app seems to be running smooth. Thank you for your attention and dedication, it really shows how much you care!

Need to be able to turn off notification for Android. And allow a button to message developers otherwise I go through here

So. I live in guam atm and I cant seem to receive the text to verify my account I have tried many times but it seems it wont send it. Or im not receiving it. Is there a usa only way to do this?

So I like the idea. But, does the app send out a text every time something is posted? I have people that are on limited txt plans and it would use up a bunch of their alloted txts if it sends a message every time something is posted. Is there a way they can opt out of getting txts and maybe have a 1(or 2 or 3) appear on the app icon when things are posted? I really, really like the idea but probably won't use it unless some sort of upgrade like this is added.

I was having trouble with it, but since the last update its been working fine.

This is a great app for work, the support team is always keeping it up to date, and always ready to help... Only reason I say work in progress is become they are always improving their work

I haven't been able to use shift recently, it keeps saying failed to connect to server or having trouble connecting to internet... Tried on WiFi and 4G LTE network and nothing...

UPDATE: After having some trouble with the app, one of the apps founders promptly contacted me to help me resolve the issue. Good interface, easy to use. Just need to spread the word and make use of the app more common.

This app is great. However, schedules often aren't jpg files. It should be possible to upload the schedule as a PDF file. Other than that this is pretty cool. It makes switching shifts and contacting employees easy.

Can't get past the verify screen it says the code is incorrect. Edited to say that they fixed my issue and called me directly they are very nice!!

I posted an issue I was having after months of the app working perfectly, and within a day or two the app developer replied with his personal phone number and resolved the issue in hours of texting. This app is great, and the developer makes it even better!
