I ordered groceries for delivery at the same time as an amazon prime now order. We heard the knock of the prime driver just fine. We never got our groceries. They canceled my order. The driver claims she knocked several times. My husband was in the living room the whole time, five feet away from the door. She called but did not ever come to the door and knock. I demanded my membership fee back but of course they take forever to answer and don't acknowledge what I said. Save yourself the grief.
Like many have said the app is slow and gets bogged down after a period of time. I've been using the website to order which is significantly faster, and with your previous orders saved off you can quickly select items you order on a regular basis. The shopping and delivery service have been excellent. We have 4 kids, 11 and under, and it's worth it to us to not have to pack everyone up for a trip to the grocery store. This is also great for our busy schedules. Improve the App responsiveness and this would be a 5 star review.
Now shopping truly is a pleasure. Can shop bogo deals at my own neighborhood grocery! And all in one convenient app. Take your time add/ delete items, check your balance. Then delivered right in to your kitchen ! Wow. Love it! Actually saves me money food shopping. Great for the Challenged shopper.!
I am using a Nexus 6p, rated top Android phone just last year, made by Google, which tells me the app is at fault for being slow and buggy. I got about 35 items in my cart before everything became bogged down and almost impossible to navigate. Please make this service available through your website and I'll consider switching from Instacart.
I signed up for their trial. Multiple items in my second order were wrong and Shipt refused to do anything about it....so I canceled. They have been billing my card the monthly fee for 4 months. I just sent a demand for a refund or I will be filing fraud charges. We will see how they respond.
Have liked the idea of the service and worked out well so far. But the app is so awful to use that it would be faster to go to store and get your self. Simple products are impossible to find at times. Can of beans had to type in as a special request.didnt even care what brand, not 1 can of beans listed anywhere in app. Needs to improve or canceling service and going to store.
The app gets bogged down. Can't add products, can't view cart. Tried both on Nexus 5x and Note 10.1. Both off these devices have no trouble in other apps.
Started having worsening difficulty with the app. Can't place orders is a timely manner as app gets bogged down and simply doesn't respond. Have resorted to ordering from my laptop. Very annoying as this used to be an attractive feature to the shipt service.
I expect to pay extra to have someone else do the shopping but an extra $14/month on top of that?! I'll stick with Safeway.
This app drags and freezes. The shopping service is great but having to use this app makes it easier to just go to the grocery store.

Would be a great service if pricing was clear and possibly just a % of the Publix cost. Don't mind paying extra for the convince, but there is a limit before being a rip off. Plus the high cost is not shared with the actual shoppers doing the heavy lifting.
For me to write a review...it was bad. Although convenient not taking a trip to the store, the amount of time shopping online took just as long as if I went to the store. It's very, very slow and you have to keep scrolling down until you see your product because it's in alpha order. Plus the search function doesn't work. Some categories have a very large selection to sort through so it would help if they broke into subcategories. Not happy and not sure I'll do this again.
The human part of the service is completely let down by terrible app and web page. I'm using a pretty top of line Google Nexus 6p and using the app is slow and painful. Each scroll takes a half dozen efforts. Need to hire some coders from instacart, Uber or others that value the customer experience a bit more. Also, some updates like applying coupons, scanning barcodes and exposing an API to integrate with online recipe services to selectively add all ingredients at one. I don't imagine I'll keep this app.
You guys have got to get your technical issues sorted. Both the app and website are absolutely terrible. Rating will not change until you figure it out.
I recommended it to my parents who use it to avoid spending their golden years in the grocery store. They absolutely love it! Honestly, I say give it a try the next time you are too busy with kids, taking care of medical stuff, busy with holidays, etc. Coupon D38B3 gets your $10 bucks off your first order so unless you hate free groceries, I would say give it a whirl. The app is ridiculously easy to use!
The drivers always send updates and come in the scheduled window. And I've had no problems with the app itself that everyone seems to have. I like that the minimum order for free delivery is low. Who doesn't spend at least $35 in groceries? I also like that they shop at publix & I'm able to get bogo free deals and all the other brands that I like to buy. The membership price is worth it. The cost of membership beats using gas or uber/lyft to go to the store. I've definitely saved money.
Service is great but after so many items in the cart, the app stops working. It is very frustrating. Thinking of not using only because the app is frustrating.
I enjoy the shipt process minus the ordering part. App continuously freezes or just doesn't work. Ill have to cancel my membership if I can't order.

For $99 you can get a membership with 2% back and 20-50% savings. Shipt is just lining someone's pocket but not YOUR pocket
The delivery people are so nice and this is a very useful and easy app to use. I recommend this anyone who needs groceries delivered to their door.

I went to sign up and it doesn't even function. Not able to sign up via cell phone app.
I love the service and fast delivery. Especially for a busy schedule as mine. But the app can use a lot more work. First it doesn't have a way to clear the shopping cart, second the search feature doesn't work.
