They expect you to maintain a rating above 4.8 if you are a 4.5 they see it fit to drop you from the shopper database. Along with that you can't rate customers and the referral is a joke. Do yourself a favor stick to uber it's easier and they have realistic standards

Shipt is a fast growing company that has benefited me in so many ways! The orders one gets offered are based off their availability, the rate they accept offers, and their ability to be accurate, friendly, and on time. With each app update, they do better! They make appropriate updates to the app by listening to members and shoppers! #shiptlife
This app is great, but I have 2 complaints. The first is that they encourage chat as the best way to communicate with HQ, but the chat needs to 'reconnect' constantly and you have to fill out a 'who you are form' first. This is annoying because every time it needs to reconnect, you have to fill out the form again. My other complaint is on the shopping list itself. Once you collapse a completed section, if you go back out to contact the customer, it uncollapses your list again, so you have to do it over.
Ok, you know how for raw meat the app shows wants the weight per package or weight in total? For example 1.2 pounds of meat per package or 2.4 pounds in total. Well sometimes this leads to the app asking for way more meat than the customer wanted. Like one time the app said 6 pounds each package (5 packages) or 30 pounds in total when the customer only wanted 6 pounds. This could easily be solved by going back to just putting in the weight.
App is working well now :)

App still needs work. When you click the OK button when an order alert pops up it should take you to the available orders. Right now it does nothing and the loading of the different screens takes way toooooo long. Also to process an order now takes way longer then it ever did.
1. A crap stat that if u don't accept orders ur acceptance%goes down. (You'll learn why this is important). So if the # is low u won't receive many orders. 2.%On-time. This would be okay, but then there's BS where u start shopping on a order at 4 so it can be delivered 5-6, you get another for 5-6 that should've been started at 2. Nvm the app has excessive receipt load and processing times. It also erases shopping progress frequently.10-15+ mins, later= image saved. Long loading times for the app.
This app blows. Connection problems up the wazoo, I can never have a flowing conversation with chat help, it is CONSTANTLY RECONNECTING. Get your Shipt together people.
This week I have repeatedly gotten an error message when taking a pic of receipt. I have to restart phone for pic to be saved. Time waster. Also a few times during processing step, a random "Alert" window pops up. That is all it says, and I have to push ok 4 or 5 times before it clears.
Load on the available orders page when you open the app. Set custom notifications for app. Allow bar code scanning for substitute products. Show produce tips link in order. Allow user to submit a suggested picture and Barcode for special request items. Show estimated earnings on order. Also, auto refresh the available orders screen.
App great for shopping but buggy during S Florida storms. Photo feature for receipts works okay but slow and app is slow to process order where seconds and mins count toward delivery time and shopper ratings. Substitutions can penalize shopper with customer reviews even when you have no control over what is in stock. Notifications are buggy and I cannot receive push notification orders from Shipt on my LG G4/LG Volt 2 phone so I have to constantly refresh app to get orders-- I have asked for help a lot!

Please fix the bug causing me to have to press the "add to cart" button many times b4 it sticks. Battery life is crucial! Also, I'm having to exit "shop order" to make substitutions. Lastly, allowing the shoppers different options for categorizing/listing the items to be shopped would be nice. I had an order with 67 items and the only reason I made it out in decent time is because I wrote a good portion of the list out by using the aisle #'s provided. Please & Thanks
When opening app the upload of info takes longer than any of my other apps. Also- shuts down when taking a picture of receipt and uploading. The concept of the app is awesome. Easy to use just a few quirks to iron out so productivity is not slowed down.
Offered orders screen is way to busy. simple is more efficient. Please fix this.

The continual addition of features that help make the job easier is fantastic. Feedback is heard and listened to, and the app is a great example of the company taking big strides toward a bright future.
It's useful when it's working, but it's very glitchy which causes problems for shoppers and potentially the customers as well.
Please group items by isles
The app would work better to our advantage if it would group items by aisle rather than product type. Also, would be convenient if once you've picked up the item it would no longer show in your shopping list or something. You have to literally scroll up and down several times to make sure you didn't forget something or to see if you need to go back to the aisle again.
Many things could be done to improve the app and the shopping process for both the customer and the shopper. My advice to new shoppers is to only shop one area at first and only shop one order every other hour. It takes time to build speed, to learn stores and to locate unique items. Also, if you are in a region that does not tip, select a different region. This can be a very challenging job at times and you will wear out soon without tips. Aside from that, try to stay patient and have fun!
It's a huge mistake for Shipt to have their members, who already pay a subscription fee, be responsible for ensuring the Shopper gets paid fairly. Like other Shoppers have said, majority of ppl don't tip! Even w/ a 4.9 rating Members would rather save a few extra bucks, rather than tip us. It's pretty weak to do 10 shops and earn like $80... after gas, tolls & car damage Shoppers don't profit. Shipt, please fix this - we work too hard to be treated like fast food workers or cashiers at wal mart...
Scanner for processing orders does not work...have to enter receipt numbers manually. ..having problems with app crashing and going offline while I'm on orders.....had some problems with chats dropping...other than that it's ok....would be awesome if products were grouped by aisle.
All around easy to use
The App is not user friendly for Android devices. Keeps crashing and freezing up and doesn't function well. Doesn't send out notifications of offers so I miss out on lots of work. The substitute scanner worked for a few days after launch and then stopped. It scans the item but won't load anything so I have to get out and click on substitute again to create my own. Wasted time.
The app is fine, but ... I worked on my last order for 3 hours and made $8.00! Definitely not worth the work! I went into this job confident and happy, however it failed quickly. The app doesn't always tell the correct location and I worked two areas an neither ever had the items listed. My scanner never worked so substitutes always had to be put in manually, just to be texting the client at home constantly sub! When you finally drop it off, their RUDE to you! What? Not worth it unless I get a paid wage.
Phoenix is a slow city. Not being able to see how many shoppers on schedule in a zone wastes a shoppers time. If I can't see when there are 4 shoppers already on in a zone when I could be working another gig, I lose. All I get are acceptance rate hits because the shopper that was hired before me takes their time to claim it, then do so just as it's offered to me. It's like a pyramid scheme where only the 1st shoppers to join in a metro will ever get orders. Put shopper schedule visibility back please.
Shipt needs 2 make members aware we need tips or make it automatic to orders.idk how so many dont tip seeing we use our own cars.MAKE WORK OFFERS FAIR! STOP HIRING SHOPPERS IN DEAD AREAS. Figured out that the app wasn't the problem it was other people in other areas getting first dibs on shops. Don't know why we get to be hired in a certain area then ppl in other areas get the work here first. Kinda backwards. Scan substitute doesnt work half the time brngs up totally different items,
The support for the app is slow and never connects. Calling support is usually unhelpful and is a 20+ minute ordeal when timing is important. Shopping multiple orders at once is not shown easily because the isles are displayed. Often has customers address incomplete
App feature for scanning a substitute is a winner! Now figure out how to simplify chat and keep it from dropping and I will give the app 5 stars.
Great app, great job. I really wish the app would let you organize by aisle instead of group. I could save a few hours a day just by not having to go back to an aisle or not having to look through the list to see all the items on a given aisle. Also, shopping list feature does not work. Would be nice if it did as the idea behind it is great.
Easy to use. The only thing to make it better would be a way to have multiple pics of receipts.
