Ivy Draw: Vector Drawing

Best option by far for a vector app on Playstore. Totally underrated little app. Tons of features and easy controls. Well done devs. Needs a cut option though to accompany copy and paste (or duplicate as it's now called). Any vector app is incomplete without it. Copy and pasting of individual vectors to and from different layers should definitely be an option. Options to skew vectors or text and the ability to ad more nodes to an existing shape would also be very helpful.

Bravo! This is what a compact vector app should be. These devs get it done! I have been through the spectrum of draw/design apps and these folks are in tune with optimising practicality. Just by the "feel" of the app, I can determine it is indeed developed by a dedicated team with pride and vision, and that does NOT fundamentally rely on beta testing for development and improvements. But, you have a need that Ivy Draw doesn't facilitate, email them...they will be responsive. Hats off to the entire staff!

Was going to be an app developer just to fix the problem of apps being not intuitive enough, but now, I DONT NEED TO! everything i think to do is always 1 click away! Wether it's to select, move, transform, change color, duplicate. I never have to search through a menu. Everything u might want to do in any situation is presented to u as an option. I cant find a single complaint. What im always finding is more reasons to LOVE this app! The only thing i cant seem to figure out is how to type.

Good app but I cannot find how to trim, weld, intersection the shapes. I will give 5 stars if I can do that.

It looks like it's going to be a great powerful tool once they deal with their importing/exporting bugs. But I have to be able to save and retrieve my work.

Great, until you try exporting as an SVG. Apparently, the SVG files it outputs are defined as SVG 1.1, yet it is using SVG Tiny 1.2 constructs, which is causing it to fail rendering. This causes huge messes when making small lines (causing them to get huge in certain cases) in addition to other bugs in rendering (circles that were once orange/yellow turning black, etc) also missing basic boolean functions. Regardless, decent app, just have to change the file type manually after export to make it render properly, or manually edit in inkscape......

Full program! Everything works and has all the intricate features a real vetor program needs to fully function and create professional works.

I purchased around $3.1. Please add fiture : weld, trim,merge,back minus front, front minus back between two objects or more. Add fiture to save color for future task. I dont know how to find menu : create new file. I only could create ALL designs in a single file, by adding new layer and rename it to remember. Add too menu : copy and paste. I type some text from other apps and cant be pasted on ivy draw. About compatibility too, svg from ivy can be opened on corel. But svg from corel cant be opened on ivy

I really liked how unintrusive the drawing tools are without losing the power of other Vector drawing programs. No other program I have tried so far has been as built for touch, especially active pen tablets. As a student / scientist even the free version is great for creating illustrations.

Has good features but difficult to understand without help.

Keep up the great work. This app is full featured. It took a moment to figure some things out, but when I did... holy crap. This thing is great! Can we get SWF Export and Vectorization features for raster to vector conversions? That is about all I need yet. :)

So I had an issue with my custom fonts not working with this app - sent an email to the developer and BOOM! In less then 24 hours the issue was fixed and the update was posted at the playstore! This is probably the only graphic app on android that allows you to import and edit you own custom fonts and not to mention its a hell of a drawing program - I Love It!!

This is just what I needed. Makes my android development session like a piece of cake. The only disadvantage is the lack of an eraser. I hope it will be added later.

This App make professional vector art but to made it simple to understand everyone... For me its Great app

Just needs basic Boolean Operations to reach entry level professional vector. Allowing Raster -> Vector conversions would also help as an alternative to booleans.

Has promise, liked the user interface, but I'm baffled by the apparent misunderstanding of quite basic geometry in the polygon generator. The only regular polygons that fit neatly inside a square have multiples of four sides, so put them inside a circle if you want to keep them from distortion. Also needs some way of rotating objects through a precise but arbitrary angle and some way of 'nudging' into position (a little pop-up pad of 'arrow keys, perhaps?). I could go on.

Is there a way to fake "pressure" on a line? Like it starts thin, goes thick and then thins out again? If it does, then you get 5 stars...

Looking for better but none compared to this... Great job

I really love using this drawing tool. Very fluid & does not bother you with technicalities. Its better than other award winning vector tools out there...

The interface isn't clear ---- but at least the support team is responsive, and as a result I was *eventually* able to work with it.

Hi guys, brilliant application you have created, it seems to have almost all feature's an illustrator on the go could need! I'm having trouble with your lines though, I want to use the bicubic line in the same way as the pen tool in illustrator, however it just comes out straight, am I doing something wrong here?

I wouldn't say I'm in love with this app, but it does have a large set of features that all work well, making it a very capable vector graphics editor.

But not at all intuitive. For example clicking outside an object does not deselect it. Many other such issues. The ads are very obtrusive and always in your face. I wouldn't mind paying for it, but I don't like ads being shoved in my face like this.
