About Truss

In many engineering fields trusses are part of the curriculum. Calculating truss and bearing forces are part of classes like mechanics or others.
Via drag and drop you are able to build your own truss and let the app calculate the existing forces.
The nomenclature and conventions used in the app are the ones being taught in "Technical mechanics I" at the Leibniz University in Hanover.
