Following recent update app won't open at all.

Needs the ability to search by map. Also when I put in a town to centre a search, it gives me sites further away first, as opposed to close by the area I wish to view. I end up referring to Google maps for real locations.

Impossible to find sites further away than 100 miles, sometimes is unable to find locations when searching...joined the ccc to make my camping life easyer but never been able to find or book 1 pitch.

When trying to log in view full site details I get a message Incorrect Mail Format and can't proceed. This is despite the fact my log in details work perfectly if I log in direct to website by laptop. So basically useless app. I tried reinstalling.

This app is appalling from the very first screen - user is invited to enter membership number in order to obtain full access, but this is impossible, as there is no link to the keyboard.

Like everyone else it needs the ability to browse all the UK via the map not just within 100miles. Also trying to browse the map within 100miles is impossible as it lags so bad it's unusable, generally it has to be within 20miles in order for it to work properly. You know the problems please fix them for all our sakes.

Why is it restricted to portrait mode? My phone operates perfectly well in landscape, & it is the preferable mode on a tablet. Glad the reviews are able to determine that the distance to a searched site is given as the distance from your current location. Disappointed it's not yet fixed to the distance from the search location. If you do a nearby search you end up in the mid Atlantic! If you get to a camp site you are asked to login to members' area?

Great if you want to find a site near where you live...but who wants to do that!?! Why can't you search a location or even the whole country by map? Makes the app pointless and you just revert to the website. Ridiculous

On the surface it looks good. You can see sites on a map within 100 miles of your location but if you want to look for a site more than that it comes up with a list of sites but if, for example, you want a site near the coast, you are unable to see the sites on a map. It limits the site usability.

2017 update. No improvement in functionality. Echo other comments re logging in repeatedly, distance from current location not search area, ordering. Really ought to have managed to develop a usable application by now. Travelling around it is very likely members will be using a phone rather than a desktop but getting information is difficult and frustrating. I've reinstalled but no better. When it updates it sticks on indexing. Often comes up with no results. .nothing at all 90 miles of Cardiff this morning apparently. Filter limited use too. Please see if this can be improved.

Apparently Peterborough doesn't exist. No sites within 100 miles. A much better app is desperately needed. Uninstalling again. Useless.

Total garbage. No matter what town I search for it can't find it. I'm not interested in places near my current GPS location, I need to search further afield. Why are they wasting my membership fee on these incompetent developers?

Total waste of time. Much simpler and quicker to go direct to website (although that leaves a little to be desired)

Search works ok but distances are from where you are now rather than your intended location. If I'm visiting a city or other attraction, it's always good to know how far away the campsite is. Also, the nearby map is from where you are now rather than where you want to be. C&CC need to take a long hard think about what people will use this for and what they would hope to get from the app. It may be ok for some but a deinstall for me I'm afraid...

Nexus 7 Waste time filling in my details on the booking page then it flags up "warning failed to search for pitches"then have to phone to make booking. Not much point in having the App apart for looking for a site.

It wont even download the database after I enter my membership number!

Won't download the database to my Samsung tablet, even though I'm logged in and on wi-fi. Older version worked ok. Works ok on my phone.

Why can I not easily check site availability?

Although this app is the camping and caravan app it's very limited. Distance, map search and places already booked. Needs addressing as there are a lot of members that rely on this app.

Useful app. I got around the location issue using a GPS Spoof app so no drama!

Poor functionality, no map search, frequently need to login (why doesn't it remember my details like every other app), having to click on a search result then click again for full listing is pointless and time wasting. Could be much better by adding basic functions.

The search of the app is useless. If you are searching on the main online website. It will show you which sites are open and which can take your size of caravan. The app doesnt do this. Which for me having a large caravan makes the app useless. Very disappointed. But not surprising as the clubs big sites book if very poorly put together.

Works ok on line. Virtually useless offline. Has an off line list of sites but can only search if you know the name of the site you want. Hopeless if in the highlands of Scotland looking for a site near you. We have given up and bought the book.

My favourite's have vanished and the map is now unusable. Needs a total overhaul

Don't have the crashing issues others reported. Would be good if can pin point a location for a map search rather than just defaulting to the current location.

User name has not changed but can't login makes booking online impossible

Out of date sites

This app continues to crash when making a booking on my mobile phone, although the listed site information is useful. Its difficult to understand why the CCC hasn't put a stop to what is generally perceived at best as a bit of a joke! and at worst damaging PR!

Sites seem to be out if date - most appear to have been updated in 2015. Be good to be able to seach for sites open 365. Please update sites.

When in search nearby mode app keeps crashing as a member of caravan and camping club how am I supposed to find certified sites membership cancelled off to the caravan club much better app

Search by location does not work.

Search for sites, click on that site and a completely different one comes up!

This 'app' is unusable on an Android phone. It's worse than useless. 45 minutes spent on a b booking and it still f*cked it up. It's a desktop site shoehorned inyo a mobile and it fails miserably. The desktop site is crap so squeezing it into a phone display and low bandwidth is crap squared. The main site desperately needs an overhaul and this 'app' needs to be replaced by a mobile site.
