مقولات وحكم لابن عثيمين رحمه الله
١- العلم الذي هو محل الثناء هو العلم الشرعي الذي هو فقه كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وما عدا ذلك فإما أن يكون وسيلة إلى خير أو وسيلة إلى شر، فيكون حكمه بحسب ما يكون وسيلة إليه.

٢-العلم من أفضل الأعمال الصالحة، وهو من أفضل وأجلَ العبادات، عبادات التطوع، لأنه نوع من الجهاد في سبيل الله، فإن دين الله – عز وجل – إنما قام بأمرين: أحدهما: العلم والبرهان.
والثاني: القتال والسنان، فلا بد من هذين الأمري

٣- إن العابد حقًا هو الذي يعبد ربه على بصيرة ويتبين له الحق، وهذه سبيل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم] قُلْ هَذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ [ Citations and the rule of Ibn 'God's mercy
