* If you have the charger plugged late at night, so you don't have the charger applied while you are asleep.
* When the battery is fully charged, so you don't charge the battery longer than needed.
The alarm signal is played for 30 seconds (which can be set to 5 minutes) and will hence not annoy you.
At fully charged battery, only a short sound will be played, in order to not annoy you too much, but this can be changed to a 30 seconds alarm.

ChargeWarner is operational only when the charger is plugged, and otherwise uses minimal battery power.
The settings allow you to finetune the functionality. You can for example set the temperature when ChargeWarner should play its warning, and hence decide when you consider the battery hot/overheated.
A hot or overheated battery could possibly lead to an exploding battery, so it is a good idea to let this app warn you. Don't let your battery get hot or overheated, use ChargeWarner.
Permissions you need to grant at installation time:
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To be able to schedule checks, as these are cleared during reboot.
SET_ALARM: To be allowed to schedule checks.
WAKE_LOCK: To be allowed to wake up the device if it is asleep, and play a warning tone.
