เสียงนกปรอดหัวสีเขม่า

นกปรอดหัวสีเขม่า หรือ นกแทดตากแดง (ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Pycnonotus aurigaster; อังกฤษ: Sooty-headed bulbul) เป็นนกประจำถิ่นที่จัดอยู่ในประเภทสัตว์ป่าคุ้มครอง พบเห็นได้ง่ายในทุกภาคของประเทศไทย ยกเว้นทางภาคใต้ จัดอยู่ในวงศ์นกปรอด (Pycnonotidae)

นกปรอดหัวสีเขม่าเป็นนกขนาดเล็ก ลำตัวยาวประมาณ 18–20 เซนติเมตร ปากมีสีดำ เรียวแหลม และโค้งลงเล็กน้อย มีขนหนวด มีขนทรงพังค์เล็ก ๆ สีดำที่หัวด้านบน โดยส่วนนี้จะมีสีดำครอบตั้งแต่รอบดวงตาไล่มาถึงแก้มและจมูกซึ่งเป็นจุดเด่นของนกชนิดนี้ แก้มและคางมีสีเทาแกมขาว ตั้งแต่คางลงไปถึงใต้ท้องมีสีขาวนวล ลำตัวด้านบนสีน้ำตาลแกมเทา บริเวณก้นมีสีส้มแดง สีแดงสด สีเหลือง โดยสีดังกล่าวจะขึ้นอยู่กับช่วงเวลาหรือแหล่งที่อยู่อาศัยที่แตกต่างกัน หางยาวมีสีน้ำตาลเทาเกือบดำ ส่วนปลายหางมีสีขาวเห็นได้ชัดเจนขณะบิน โดยตัวผู้กับตัวเมียมีลักษณะคล้าย ๆ กัน Sooty-headed bulbul birds Tad red line (scientific name: Pycnonotus aurigaster; England: Sooty-headed bulbul), a bird endemic to the classified wildlife protection. Sooty-headed bulbul bird is small. The body length of 18-20 cm with black pencil and lips curved slightly hairy mustache hairs hath punk small black top head.
