Pedagogika to nauka o wychowaniu, a pedagog zajmuje się przekładaniem teorii na praktykę. Jakiej teorii? Dotyczącej rozwiązywania problemów w domu oraz komunikacji między dzieckiem, rodzicami, przedszkolem i szkołą.

Moja praca to także poszukiwanie nowatorskich rozwiązań codziennych problemów wychowawczych i tłumaczenie dziecięcych zachowań tak, by potrafili zrozumieć je dorośli.

Zrobię co tylko w mojej mocy, żeby pomóc ci przejść przez etapy, które każda z nas prędzej czy później musi poznać, takimi jak:
- nowa rola społeczna i wyzwania stojące przed matką np. zmęczenie obowiązkami macierzyńskimi,
- różne etapy pielęgnacji np. odpieluchowanie, usypianie, pożegnanie ze smoczkiem itd.
- bunt dziecka (i twój czasem też),
- histeria,
- nauka mówienia,
- rozmowy o emocjach (także twoich np. baby blues i depresja),
- komunikacja w trudnych sytuacjach np. z domownikami, z rówieśnikami, z rodzeństwem,
- pozytywna dyscyplina, stawianie granic i konsekwencja w wychowaniu,
- wspieranie dziecka na każdym etapie rozwoju, zwłaszcza przy najróżniejszych kłopotach np. w szkole lub z rówieśnikami,
- szacunek i akceptacja (siebie i dziecka),
- przygotowanie do przedszkola,
- trudne rozmowy i tematy tabu, np. zły dotyk,
- szkoła i dylematy szkolne np. motywowanie do nauki, rozpoczęcie nauki w szkole,
- zachęcanie do odważnego poznawania świata na każdym etapie życia
- i tysiąc innych tematów, także tych nieco bardziej specjalistycznych np. dysleksja, mutyzm, ćwiczenia logopedyczne, nawyki żywieniowe (niejadek), które są codziennością i dodatkowym stresem dla wielu matek.

Sama wiesz, że każdy tydzień z dzieckiem przynosi nowe wyzwania. Czasem też problemy. To zupełnie naturalna sprawa. W szkole nie uczą jak wychować szczęśliwe dziecko.
