About WeLog
WeLog is a simple but very flexible and powerful tool for citizen science and other applications.
With WeLog, you can set up a community group to capture sightings of whatever interest, and all can view those sightings on a map. The app can also be used as a personal record for sightings.
Setup your own initiative or group of common interest, or browse the list of categories setup by other users.
Possible uses for the app:
* Holiday photo-albums.
* Logging animal sightings, invasive species, environmental incidents.
* Logging evidence of crime.
* Logging issues in your community or neighborhood, e.g. potholes, graffiti or other vandalism.
* Teachers working with pupils on field trips.
This is a free app made available to you by the not-for profit Smart Earth Network. The app was originally designed as a citizen science tool to help monitor dugongs in the Philippines. We hope you will use this app in the same spirit for citizen science!
