App calls left aid right and right aid left, both are connected via Bluetooth on a galaxy s8. Streaming was a selling point.

K70%
by K####:

It works ok but every update I have to reset the app and redo my work setting. Also would like a gear app for the Samsung users. Use to have a pebble and there was an app.

K70%
by K####:

Love this app. Just wish android was able to stream like iPhones. This app is finally compatible with the new Samsung s8 and S8+!

K70%
by K####:

Would not connect to my hearing aid

K70%
by K####:

On my Samsung galaxy note 6 it only stays connected for a day and then I have to restart the app. I hope that they can fix that this issue. I also would like to answer calls and listen to my music through my hearing aids, because that was the selling point of these hearing aides.

K70%
by K####:

Works great. Wish they would do what is needed to make streaming available on the Androids. It let's me know I have a call by beeping but that's it. Hopefully soon we can enjoy this feature.

L70%
by L####:

It loses connection with my hearing aids all the time. After the latest update I can no longer connect at all to the application. I have to adjust my hearing aids manually. When it is connected it works great.

M70%
by M####:

Over all it's great. Really like the incoming call feature as I always keep my phone on vibrate. Hopefully the next update will do the same for incoming text messages.

K70%
by K####:

Occasional problem in getting it to connect with my Halo2 aids.Works pretty well though, when it does comnect. Wish there was more info on the future of streaming on Android.

Only the second day using it for my husband's new hearing aid and it lost connection. Not a good feeling about this unfortunately.....

I like it in a since but would love it if it were more compatible with my android phone

One selling point was it streams music. It doesn't with Android. It does not always BT connect. Otherwise, it's OK.

K70%
by K####:

Saves a lot of time since I don't have to fumble around finding the right button on my hearing aids.

K70%

Can talk to love ones over the phone!

K70%

Screeching and only connected to left

Hoping you make streaming available for Android, and wish you could tweak with a equalizer on a preset for listening to music.

GREAT

I love the app! From a nerd standpoint, I wish I could track my battery changes via the app. I also hope that we android users someday get streaming sound, but I understand why it is not as easy to to do as an iphone. Overall the app is great. When I show it to freinds they are blown away with what I can do!!! The restaurant mode I have uses some and it sort of helped. But then I was in a very loud sports bar and I put it in restaurant mode and HOLLY COW EVERY THING BEHIND ME WENT AWAY AND My Nutty Brunette Bombshell's voice was so easy to hear!!!! (maybe I shouldn't use my private name for her here but too late) what can I say I'm in love and with Starkey too.

Works much better than previous versions. An option to disable the tinnitus feature other than turning the volume down would be nice.

J70%
by J####:

This app just got even better on my Samsung Galaxy S6 wotj the Samsung update on 4/27/2017 The bluetooth connection stays active now. Hopefully the streaming feature will be added soon.

K70%
by K####:

Great app. No more need to keep playing with my ears. Every thing works from the phone. Android user.

K70%
by K####:

Disappointing. There is a standard disclaimer Starkey posts about how they are working to provide the telephone and music features to Android users their iPhone app has provided for years. Calling your bluff, Starkey: after at least three years, you are still trotting out that same disclaimer, word for word. Other manufacturers have figured out how to provide Bluetooth audio. What's the holdup? My take is that Starkey is coasting on its iPhone compatibility while committing minimal-to-zero resources to providing long-promised iPhone-type features to Android users.

K70%
by K####:

I paid extra for my hearing aids because I was interested in the streaming feature. I am now finding out it cannot be done for android. My audiologist said the feature was compatible with my phone, she even checked my actual phone. I will definitely be asking for that money back!

K70%
by K####:

I wish it worked all the time. Some days I have to uninstall and then reinstall the app just to get it to sync with my hearing aids.

K70%
by K####:

Why does this not work on my galaxy s7 edge? Why can we not stream phone calls yet?

Z70%
by Z####:

I like the different settings. But, as others have said, streaming would be great, like I had with my first set of aids.

K70%
by K####:

Love the app. But still doesn't stream.

K70%
by K####:

They're not ready for primetime yet. They change GPS location sitting still.

K70%
by K####:

Very easy to use. ...I just wish I could stream with them......

K70%

I LOVE my hearing aids! App works just fine!!

K70%

I want my money back Starkey. I am so frustrated with these hearing aids and their garbage software. Latest version 4 crashes instantly upon changing programs. I've deleted cache, then reinstalled. Still doesn't work. And the Bluetooth connectivity is the worst. You can't even walk away from your phone (e.g. it's charging), and come back without going through a long and stupid reconnecting process. All I want to do is change the volume! You've lost a long time customer Starkey.

K70%
by K####:

This new update crashes every time I try to switch to a different hearing aid program. I am a professional musician and rely on this app daily. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

K70%

Keeps crashing. I can't use it.

Until recently this has worked well, now the app keeps having trouble loading. One or both aids keeps going around and around....it may or may not connect. I really do enjoy the convenience so would like it to work all the time.

TruLink apps on both Android and IOS are TERRIBLE. Especially after an operating system upgrade, you almost always have to reinstall the app and start over--and even then, getting these hearing aids connected via Bluetooth is incredibly time consuming and bug-ridden. Restart your aids, then your phone, then reinstall the app. It is so ridiculous, especially considering how expensive they are. I'll never buy a pair of Starkey hearing aids again.

K70%
by K####:

Had such high hopes for this program, downloaded, no problem, opened, no problem, paired with My hearing aids, no problem, after that the program won't run, doesn't operate. Just loads and loads for more than a half hour and counting. Maybe if this program Starts to run one day i'll be able to try it and give it a better review.

K70%
by K####:

Note 5? It seems to be widespread. Time to fix it Starkey, to show your customers who paid thousands that you are reputable. Become modern, ok? It's not only low tech folks who wear hearing aids now.

K70%
by K####:

Keep stop working and have to keep reconnecting my aids to the phone.

O70%

The app doesn't speak in my hearing aids

Junk! Fix this mother effing thing! 3500.00 and this is what I get?
