GetStocks - Stock Trading App

Was interested in doing a bit of day trading and was trialing the app out and I have been called every day multiple times a day since registering. I will not be forced or harassed by a company - it makes you look desperate and I certainly won't be putting actual money into an account. I've now closed my account and if I continue to recieve unsolicited phone calls will look for legal recourse.

Im sure this app is great but as soon as you sign up you get endless calls about other products. When you dont take them they shut your account!! I just want to look and trade at my own speed, not yours!!

This app is all I was hoping for, clean design, real-time view on your portfolio value, icons for stocks, it's quick and miles ahead from any other online brokers I had tried before. They call to check on you and offer advice. Would highly recommend using these guys.

Dont sign up to this app. They want a ridiculous amount of privacy details to continue your account AFTER they have taken your money. Not before. It's ridiculous. Sign up for a brokerage account elsewhere

It takes too long to load and it doesn't display the value. Just loading and loading..... Useless. The browser version is more reliable.

App seemed OK but didn't allow me to make some important trades as server went down, I was emailed asking for too much financial data, photos of my cards etc... And slow in returning my money (It's in a queue apparently) when I wanted to close out my account.

Very easy to use and mirrors the website well.

Great application for stock market newbies.

There is no DRIP to automatically use your dividends to buy more shares of the stocks in your portfolio. This is the reason why I will most likely choose another broker.

Trying to close account, reset password, login...forget about it...no support, website next you useless.

Great for begginers &easy to use

Great for monitoring and watching share price and relevant news. Be wary to use for minute to minute trading which desktop version is better equipped for simple and cheap overall

Please remind me when it's available in Malaysia, I'll be waiting for it.

Great app and service

I just started trading for the first time, so I am happy to say that this service is making it easy and comfortable to look at stocks, trading and managing the overall net worth. I am slightly uncertain if I will ever use the social features but I am quite intrigued by the concept - keep it up!

There should be an option to opt out of communications from the beginning as I installed the app out of curiosity and then was phoned 3 times even though I hung up on them the first time they called. I feel pressured by sales calls, this was not a good first impression for me. I chose an app for a reason, I would have called them directly if I wanted to speak to someone.

Don't usually leave reviews, however this app is so simple to use, and has plenty of great features. Cheap trading fees and it helps that everything is described using plain English.

The app looks good and it makes your life easy. You can trade, make deposits and withdrawals fast and easy.

I am finding it hard to sign in to my account

Good layout and easy to navigate. Interesting twist with the piggyback option, however I have not used it yet.

All I can think why they insists on you giving so much of your personal information is to bombard you with nuisance advertising and harass you by phone.
