Comic Books Collector

I've had this app for a long time and it used to work perfectly! Now, nothing works!! I'm not exaggerating!! Literally nothing works! Searching for new or old comics, adding comics to your collection, and using the"Manually Add Comic" button all don't work! Please fix this once-great app!!!!

It doesn't find new comics anymore. It's pretty much useless now and can't add issues to collection. Can anyone suggest a good replacement app for this one?

Pretty good for a free app. my main complaint is books aren't listed numerically. instead they're all sporadic which makes it hard when a comic has 800 issues

Idk. New update is wack as hell. Deleted half of my inventory. Plus the fact that it says now I have more issues than the volume itself is quite annoying

App was fine before. Unfortunately it crashed every time I attempt to open it now.

Why will no longer update the volumes? Constant crashing with the latest update. PLEASE FIX IT!!!

Worked on my old tablet. Installed on new tablet. Doesn't work, just crashes. Uninstalled.

Nothing works on multiple devices. Constantly shuts off anytime i try to edit wishlist, search for new titles, usually a great app now I can't do anything

This is exactly what I needed but there is only one thing I wish I could change. Although there is an option to select the storage location for the comic covers, when I try to change it I am only offered the device storage option which is big let down since I have alot of comics and that folder for the covers is taking up a huge chunk of space. I may have to uninstall and continue looking for something similar but with the option to use the sd card as the storage location.

Crashed and restarted my phone every time.

28/2/17- - to anyone who thinks it's not working - IT'S CHANGED. YOU HAVE TO SWIPE LEFT AND RIGHT TO SEE YOUR LISTS NOW. and that works fine. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Very useful collector app. It's a bit frustrating when the lists (linked to comicvine) are mostly in number order, but then jump about a bit, but you get used to it. And considering it's free, you can't complain. It works very well. After a couple of recent bugs, it's now working very well! 28/feb/17

Just installed latest update and sill force closes on tablet. It will open on smart phone but won't allow title collection to open. Why is this app always breaking!!!!!

One of the worst apps I have ever had the miss fortune of downloading. I was looking for a decent app for categorizing my comics, however this is not the one. No matter what comic I manually type in, ie batman, it cannot find it. I even downloaded the scanner app, wrong that doesn't work either. Very disappointing, I would give it zero stars but alas that is not an option.

Used to be good, now you can't find any of the comic series you're looking for, big waste of time

Scanner not working or cannot find title

At times the app works great, right now it won't find multiple older titles and some new titles. Please fix!!!!

It's a bit buggy, I can only search for a few titles before it stops working altogether, but it's free and is faster than me taking a picture/scanning covers myself. You get what you pay for and it's okay for now.

The search engine is woeful, it puts anything you find in your Wish List as well as your My Collection, which is under Following for some bizarre reason. Can't get it to put anything in Owned, the tick boxes in Settings seem to be there for decoration. Is it too much to ask for a simple database for your collection?

Ap works great, the search is fast and haven't had much trouble finding and adding issues. Titles that have a lot of issues sometimes pull a tad out of numerical sort order when the search is complete. Overall a great ap though!

There doesn't seem to be a decent comic book collection app anywhere. This one won't even search titles. Just says if this is new try later. Very disappointed. Don't downlod

Barcode scan either doesn't work or crashes the app. Sometime doing a manual search will crash the app

Awful. Closes every time I scan a comic. Try and search for something to add to my collection and it says it is a new title and to try again later. Batman is a new title?

Awful app. Absolutely terrible. Don't waste your time. I know it's a free app, but I would actually much rather pay $15 to get those 5 minutes of my life back than keep this horrible application.

Cool beans app! Does what its supposed too. Keeps my volumes , updates new comics for that title. Overall I enjoy it.

Search dosent work,won't find any series at all even something as simple as Batman. Expected more from the app after the hassle of creating an account and finding an api key,could be halfway done writing my collection on paper by now

Didn't show updated list.crashes when I look at an issue.searches fail.It's random when it works.takes up to much card space on all issue images.missing some issues in a series.doesn't instill faith to buy the pre app.thus so can't take the place of an excel sheet out a paper list!! i JUST GOT A NEW PHONE AND CANT IMPORT MY COLLECTION INTO THE NEW PHONE WHEN I REINSTALL THE APP USING THE SAME ACCOUNT. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND NO HELP FROM DEVELOPERS IN FIXING THIS ISSUE. IM GOING BACKL TO PAPER

Exactly what I've been looking for

This app takes a little getting used to but I love it. I downloaded several other free apps for comic book databases, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. THIS ONE IS THE BEST FOR FREE! If you are using this strictly as a database of your personal collection, go to settings and check OWN IT. That sets the titles you input to own at default. Otherwise you have to manually change every title. Make sure you follow the four steps at the beginning! The barcode reader works great too!
