Started using this as a Yik Yak replacement and I think it's great. It's packed with features and is very addictive. Few bugs here and there, but the devs seem to be on top of it all and are always working hard to sort out any issues. Good stuff!

by Q####:

After factory resetting my phone it wouldn't let me back on the app and I emailed the help group, they were useless and told me just to uninstall and reinstall the app to fix the issue. This didn't help and after replying that it didn't help I didn't get another reply.

W70%
by W####:

App perfect for trolls and assholes of yy to continue their trolling and being assholes. And super annoying login system. What's to love?

K70%
by K####:

The app works great however, it gives frequent crash notices when I try to open it.

I70%
by I####:

Solid yik yak replacement if only more would hop on board.

Q70%
by Q####:

Plenty of bugs, but it is a new app by two dudes with limited resources. I love it.

Y70%
by Y####:

Its a good yik yak supplement

W70%

Love it

Pretty fun, though the community is somehow far more hostile then Yik-Yak. Gif support is great, has lots of customization, and a far better block/mute system. The creator is also very active, interacting with you fairly quickly if you message him. Needs some minor improvements, but with no alternative I can't really complain.

Q70%
by Q####:

Good app I guess. Although, in the latest update, Swiflie crashes when I open a picture. Phone: Nexus 6 OS: CyanogenMod 13

Q70%
by Q####:

This app now crashes whenever I try and view an image otherwise it's a pretty good app. Fix this please it's rather annoying

Q70%
by Q####:

It will never replace YikYak, but it's the best option we've got at this point. I like the gif options.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is generally fine, but after last update, I can't open images or gifs. Once fixed I'd rate it high

X70%
by X####:

Ever since the most recent update, the app crashes when I try to open any pictures

Q70%
by Q####:

It crashes pretty often. Other than that, good app

X70%
by X####:

Great app but it crashes any time i try to open a picture.

U70%
by U####:

Frequent crashing after recent update.

Q70%
by Q####:

Buggy and crashy. Very unstable.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's a pretty good alternative with Yik Yak being discontinued. It has more features and you can have groups not limited to cities. It even has gif support. There are a few issues that still need to be worked out, like hitting your phone's back button while looking at a picture closing the app instead of the picture, but that can be fixed.

N70%
by N####:

This app is extremely buggy and constantly freezes or the content will disappear from time to time. Restarting the app only helps occasionally. Despite the bugs, it's a fun place to chat. It's basically the lovechild of reddit and yik yak. Though, the bugs get really annoying. I suggest waiting a few versions/updatss before downloading and frustrating yourself.

I'm supposed to be writing a research paper right now, but instead I'm screwing around and writing a review for an app for no reason other than to escape the sinking realization that I am going to fail this course and my life is meaningless anf my parents will probably disown me. That should give you some idea of what the app is like. deceng Yik Yak replacement, 8/8

Z70%
by Z####:

Overall, it's better than yikyak. My favorite part is not having a character limit, or at least one that is much, much bigger than yikyak's was. The app has some glitches and problems, but that might be due to the sudden influx of new people from yikyak. As long as they update it soon, it's good in my book!

X70%
by X####:

App is unresponsive at times. Location search also doesn't seem to work sometimes forcing me to restart the app. A really annoying thing also is the fact that when I switch to another app the screen will go all the way to the top of the feed.

Q70%
by Q####:

Very buggy login/account creation. Near impossible but I finally kept jamming the login button until it finally worked. It crashed a lot before that though. Please fix this.

F70%
by F####:

This is much better than yikyak, it always has been. In fact I deleted yikyak after downloading swiflie many moons ago. Chris is helpful, its unfiltered, handles are optional , pictures can be posted, the only bad thing about swiflie is the gifs, highly reccommend if you are an Aggie

B70%
by B####:

Should only be allowed to post camera pictures not gallery and screenshots. App is just a lame wannabe twitter. If you want a good yak alternative then try Jodel.

T70%
by T####:

Honestly, I wouldn't have any idea how good this app is because I haven't been able to login/create account. The obvious first step would be to create an account, so I tried to. It repeatedly told me in different ways that there was some sort of error, so I restarted the app. I go to create an account again and it says that my email is connected to another account. I go to login and try my typical passwords; I ended up getting like 3 different messages on why I couldn't login and one of them said that I may not have a password. I tried not putting a password and it crashed the app several times. Fix it, and I'll fix my review.

Q70%
by Q####:

Needs work. Misses the mark on most and definitely lacks focus. Gifs are nice. It's like a bad version of yik yak with a bunch of other stuff grafted on so it doesn't look like a yik yak ripoff. Seems like a student project

Q70%
by Q####:

Better than Yik Yak in a lot of ways, not as good in others. Yik Yak's clean, minimalist interface makes Swiflie look clunky and crowded, but Swiflie lets you decide where in the world you want to read and post, which is good for people who lived in Yak-starved regions. 4⭐

Q70%
by Q####:

Seriously, the majority market share of Android devices and this app doesn't properly support the "back" button?! Devs need to stop with crappy iPhone ports and actually make use of all the features Android has to offer.

Q70%
by Q####:

Thought I changed the review. The app works perfectly fine now. No issues since the last 2 updates. It's been improving since then

Q70%
by Q####:

This app crashes too much. Garbage app, don't waste time, needs much work

Q70%
by Q####:

Crashes too much, too many user interface glitches especially when it comes to pop up elements

Q70%
by Q####:

Great potential for this app. I like the structure. It gets laggy at times but that could easily be solved by adding more servers

Q70%
by Q####:

Lots of crashing and bugs. If those were gone it would be an amazing app

Q70%
by Q####:

It's an ok Yik Yak replacement, but only because of the features and the following. It has a lot of bugs that get really annoying.

Q70%
by Q####:

A big problem is that it shows the posts repeatedly. Scrolling makes the same posts appear again and again. Just giving a low rating so this problem can be solved

Q70%
by Q####:

The app looks like Twitter but works like a mix of yikyak and reddit. It's a really good idea, but it crashes constantly. I like that you can post to whatever group you want but also there's a nearby location. Nobody uses it, but it's available.
