Synology Drive

So, on my cluster, I have Synology Office installed and can create new documents. Am I missing something? I can't seem to get were I need to be with this app. I see the documents I placed here, I can open and edit them; but, I can't create anything new. Help us create. Thank you for the hard work Synology, please keep going with this.

I don't understand the point of this app. It would make a lot more sense if it had the same function and replaced DS File. Synology, simplify your apps and use Google Apps as a reference. Google Drive = Synology Drive, Google Photos = Moments. We don't need redundant, half baked apps!

I'm a bit disappointed, I can edit files and it's directly saved in the drive. I have manually uploaded it. It is not what I understand about a drive. Neither there is no synchronize, so I have to use the cloud anyway for this. Which is in this case better, because when I edit smt it's sync automatically. I don't understand the sense of this app at all. It is just like the synology file app with a different layout and group rights

It is a little slow in syncing.. I could sync to Google Drive (via my Broadband) faster than I can sync to my local NAS connected with Gbps LAN... something is wrong there...

Not at all what I was expecting. I was hoping this would be a DS FIle replacement app that was more similar to Google Drive and not as clunky, but what I found was it simply lets you create new folders, documents, etc. inside it's own little container. You can't open files you already have on your NAS with this. The interface is great though.

A lot more practical than the old DS Cloud. However, the functionalities (such as uploading an entire folder) aren't on par with DS File yet. Also, there should be a backup option (like the PC's CloudStation Backup) that allows us to choose what folders to backup.

I run a Synology DS212+ with the current DS 6.1.3 15152-update. This combination does not run the new generation of Synology applications, as I learned at the latest Synology seminar in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Please make a warning of this - Thanks!

Even though this is beta, I will just review some functions that are currently missing. This app should support Office files editing as access Office from its website is buggy. I also expect this to replace both File app and add Office functions to it as well as sync function. Look forward to the release version! :)

Very nice feature. Please do not add sync because it will only make trouble. I have fast connection so it is fine the way it is.

Missing security feature to lock the app from prying eyes

Could work as file manager. Just need to enable in team folders. I like that it is streamlined with office.

So far I'm liking this but very unsecured without Passcode function.

I like it a lot more than the ds cloud.

To be completely honest i thought this app gonna be like Google Drive but it is something so stupid that i have to uninstall it after 5 minutes of testing. The point of having office on Synology is utterly pointless cause you can not sync your documents and edit it online. I love your products but your software is getting worst and worst
