About Pomodoro Timer Lite

This simple and beautiful Pomodoro™ Timer will help you do more in less time and regain your lost concentration.

Some of the Pomodoro Timer Lite features:
* No ads
* Beautiful design
* Simplicity

The Pomodoro Technique® is a popular time management method developed in the late 80's. It's really simple. You break down your work into 25 minutes intervals separated by short breaks.

Here's how it works:
1.) Pick a task you need to accomplish.
2.) Set a timer for 25 minutes and start working
3.) When the time rings, take a 3-5 minute break
4.) Every fourth break should be long 15-25 minutes

What are users saying about Pomodoro Timer Lite

The app itself has good functionality, and this should get better over time. One weak area, and a deal breaker for me, is the lack of alarm choice flexibility, especially the lack of a continuous alarm. I've missed almost every notification the app has made because of this. The alarm is simply too short for my situation. I bought the Pro version thinking it might have alarm selection, but it did not, so I got a refund.

X70%
by X####:

It's make easier to focus on your study. Short study durations (about 25min) and short breaks keep you concantrate. Although it is basically a timer and you do not need it to track time, it is just a simpliest way to do it.

U70%
by U####:

I previously used a complicated pomodoro app, and I vastly prefer this one. It's clean, easy to use and does the job. I love that it's easy to change the task you're working on without starting over, but that if you do keep the same task it reminds you of the long break after 3 short ones. It's the app I was hoping for when I searched "simple pomodoro" !

U70%
by U####:

In the lite version as soon as the screen display switches off, the pomodoro stops. You have to restart it all over again. Just fix this issue, other than that, the app is very good.

U70%
by U####:

Thinking about upgrade to PRO, can you change the alarm sound in PRO? The default alarm ringtone makes me jumpy, literally.

U70%
by U####:

Has helped me to focus on homeschooling, business, meals, chores, etc. If you have a task that you dread or is a time-sucker, just do it for 25 minutes. If it's too hard to take up your cross, pick up a splinter! God bless.

U70%
by U####:

Wonderful timer and really helps me focus with 25min of work with 5min break, and the lengths of each can be changed in settings. I love how it tells me to focus when I start the timer and tells me I've deserved a break when it's break time :) I like the ability to change the volume of the ticking since I found it annoying when I got the app, luckily I could turn it down. And I hear the alarm just fine when I've got my earphones in. I wish I could make the alarm longer but other than that, it's perfect!

Helps sooooo much with my homework. On top of ADD I'm a huge procrastinator and this app helps so much.GET IT NOW!!!!!

F70%
by F####:

Was pleasantly surprised with how it increased my productivity. Initially, it was hard to walk away from my desk when the bell went off, but it really does work.

T70%
by T####:

Then nap for 5 min before jumping back into the fire. A great productivity and time management tool that is absurdly simple to use

D70%
by D####:

It does the basics well. The only thing I wosh it haf was a list of the diff tasks completed throughout the day. Maybe the pro version does this?

U70%
by U####:

This app has been a life saver. Earlier I used to just see my watch for using this technique. So I was distracted. But in this app it tells me exactly when to start and when to take a break. Very effective!!

U70%
by U####:

When I remember to use it, it keeps me on task, but also makes sure I take breaks, which I really like. It's like being at work, but still being in high school, with a bell ringing.

U70%
by U####:

Expect nothing special from this app. It sets a timer for 25 minutes. After the 25 minutes you will get a break from whatever you were doing. The only improvements that I want to see is the fact that you can automatically generated activities to do.

X70%
by X####:

Can't adjust task timer length, can't pause timer, I have a baby that I can't just ignore and I wouldn't pay for this either

U70%
by U####:

Very basic but good enough. The ticking sound is calm & slow unlike all the other pomodoro apps. It helps you to concentrate while reminding your wandering brain that the pomodoro is running.

G70%
by G####:

The app helps me focus on one task at a time. Just the act of typing what I am working on and then purposely focusing for 25 min helps me get more done.

U70%
by U####:

I started using it today. Perhaps it's excitement of trying something new or perhaps the app is super interactive, I am finding myself bit more productive.

U70%
by U####:

Fails to do the short cycle after 1 or 2 cycles. Good aesthetic but other apps are just as simple to use, have better functionality, and they actually work.

U70%
by U####:

This app changed my life. Thank you dev! I actually don't even use the app anymore but still recommend it. It trained me to be deliberate with the use of time.

U70%
by U####:

"Recent App Cleaner" kill this app. The status bar does not show the end time, or elapsed time, but only the start time. There are volume control of alarm. But unable to change alarm sound (in free version). Не срабатывает длинный перерыв, а все время короткий.

U70%
by U####:

Asks for money before you even can get in, plus it's so basic. Deleted after 30 seconds.

U70%
by U####:

I wish I could put in more than one activity at a time and just let it run its course, but it does well for what I need it for. I don't mind hearing the ticking (i can adjust the volume), as it helps me to stay focused on the task. An audible reminder of sorts.

U70%
by U####:

Very good. One issue - I'd rather not have "abandon task" on the screen as it could put the idea in my head - or maybe that's just me. [Original comment: If it's possible to mark a task as done, or to switch tasks, it's not obvious how. Edit: Thanks for the reply.]

J70%
by J####:

Whole point of ticking is to urge you forward in your task - not for meditation! This ticking needs to be quicker in order for u to be productive

U70%
by U####:

I used to set a timer for 15 minutes and accomplish as much as I could. But I like 25 minutes better, to get more done, and I like writing out my goal to keep me more focused. I've recommended this app to a number of people who are trying to get motivated to do something they have been putting off.

F70%
by F####:

It didn't start when I pushed start button. It hanged all of a sudden.

U70%
by U####:

That's simple and works good. Would be great if there are more timing options available. I want to customize pomodoro duration and breaks.

S70%
by S####:

It works. It could have some more customization options like starting a break as soon as I open the app, or changing duration of long break right before starting it.

U70%
by U####:

I want to love this app so much, but I'm stuck with 25m intervals for every task. The pro version seems to have the same limitation. Please change this!

U70%
by U####:

I find it easier to start tasks now that I use this Pomodoro app. Some days the only way I can talk myself into getting started on tasks is to tell myself that I'm only going to give it 25 minutes. I find Pomodoro light's simple interface and minimal features particularly useful. I'm tempted to upgrade to the pro version but I'm affraid I'll start avoiding it once I populate my task list. This is my here-is-your-only-task-for-the-next-25-minutes app. Speaking of which, time to start!

B70%
by B####:

All really good and simple to do... Customizable without being overly so, but the ticking sound needs attention.. When it repeats it misses about a quarter second and drove me crazy just counting to 10 ticks waiting for the next repeat of the track. But turned it off and I could focus on work once again.

U70%
by U####:

I like that it keeps track of how many pomodoros you've completed, for what task, and asks you if you want a short or long break after 4 pomodoros. It has some optional features like the ticking sound and volume. I noticed it can drain your battery faster than usual, but that is expected. It is not so bad, though. I recommed it.

U70%
by U####:

If you want a pomodoro timer, this is it. There's no changing the 25 minutes on and five minutes off to different amounts of time. In fact, I love the automation of that. I don't have to keep track of when my long/short breaks will be (which is every four 25 minute sessions, you get a long break). The app does that for me. That way, I just get lost in my studying. My productivity, I feel, has really taken off.

U70%
by U####:

Looking for more advanced features. Even after perusing the pro version, this is not the app for me. It's not bad, though, and particularly this app alone is great. There's no ads, the add'l permissions are absent (big plus), and it functions smoothly. If you're looking for a minimalist pomodoro app or an introduction to the technique, this is a good app..

H70%
by H####:

So simple yet so effective. Light and elegant. Changed from another one to this. The ticking is something I really like. Not for all, but good u can turn it off if desired. It helps me focus with a kind of white noise. I would add to this feature.

O70%
by O####:

I'm new to the Pomodoro technique, and this app is a great place to start tracking. You can add a task, track your work period, and your rest break. The app easily allows you to keep building multiple rounds so you know how much time you've worked. However, the start screen is a little annoying (wanna upgrade?), and you can't add more than one task to the list. Youll still need to keep your to-do list elsewhere. But, this is the free lite version. It's not bad for free.

N70%
by N####:

I like design and easiness of the app. But if you use light version extensively at the end app will close as soon as your display turns off. So when you open up the app you will need to start over. Shame. What is it, attempt to make customers buy pro version?! Disappointed

Q70%
by Q####:

It helps me tons to stay focus. My favourite part? The break time! Makes me feel I gained and makes me proud of myself... although I just use it for tasks I really don't want to do...

U70%
by U####:

I've completed 6 sessions but still no long break has started itself. Each break i received is of 5 minute short break only. Fix this to get 5 stars
