A snail is faster than the app. I used to go to the Toronto Star for my news, now so slow, you got rid of a lot of the reporters, now the guys who built the app. Too bad, so sad.

Around the screen day in day out. Not a bad app but duck that's enough to make me delete this. Reported the ad numerous times to no avail. Fix it Toronto star. Update. Uninstalled it. Couldn't take the ad any longer.

It seems slow and navigation is neither intuitive nor natural. Content is OK if you can read past the overt bias. But my rating is for the app alone.

I wish that when sharing an article using the Facebook button, it would use the Facebook app rather than trying to open fb on the browser

Other news apps I use don't have ads. Why does this one? Also, no settings. Can't be customized.

Get rid of that ad or lose me.

Mediocre app for an even more mediocre paper. Paper focused on feel good articles instead of impartial, fact based reporting. Liberal rag. Best news recently was hearing this paper lose money.

Need data or WiFi connection to read. Would be nice if offline reading is enabled after download.

The design is lacking. Why not take cues from the NY Times app? Remove the persistent ad at the bottom, learn how to maximize use of screen space and for goodness sake allow images to be zoomed. Mediocre.

A good news app with one easy to fix problem and a pet peeve. The developers have overridden the back button when you leave an article and the app's response is slow, painfully slow. Please fix. As a minor note, this is an Android app, tell the designers to stop making it look like an iOS app.

No complaints here, clean, user friendly. People complaining about lag but I haven't experienced it (using Oneplus One). Keep up the great work.

I've used this app for quite a while. There's always been a lag, but that wasn't so bad; however, recently (maybe last month) there's huge problems. When I click on a story all I get is a white screen and a banner ad at the bottom. Can't read anything. This needs to get fixed!

Navigating is very slow - it's very frustrating. It's also the worst app from which to share articles to Facebook, Twitter, or anywhere, really. The "Share" functionality needs a serious rethink.

Very frustrating to use. Slow to load. Sometimes redirects to ads and then fails to load the article I wanted to read. It's easier to go to the browser site than use the App.

Very often, when I display an article, all I get is the photo and a caption. The text of the article is not shown. Frustrating!

I have a perfectly good ASUS tablet running Android 4. Why does it say my tablet isn't compatible with this version ?

I open the app, I get a glimpse of the news then the screen goes blank and the only thing that shows is a banner ad for Xbox - disappointing.

The app worked great. Recently the comments section won't load up.
