The Student Room

Feels worse than just using the website.. does not conform to Android Material Design Guidelines and definitely doesn't feel like a native app. Unfortunate as I do like the student room.

Glitchy as f***. Every time I try to access a forum it gives me a 'thank you for posting!' message when I haven't posted anything and there's no way to report the fault from within the app. Sort it out.

Great and very useful app for ongoing education purpose. I Highly recommend it.

Great place to connect with people in similar circumstances and share advice. The app is easy to use and laid out. I have had one problem however where if I try to post anonymously then it loses the thread and my post doesn't turn up? Maybe I was doing something wrong though. It's good apart from that!

It is absolutely impossible to send PM messages as the LAG IS UNREAL AND VERY UNRESPONSIVE!! (can't type on keyboard) please include a search button to search individual posts in a mega thread. And also number each post for reference purposes.

TSR helps with my A levels because there are so many people who post useful things and there are also people who respond to any questions I have in things like physics

Seems to work quite well always use the student room so I love the app becuase it saves me so much time.

Freezes every few seconds, removes my posts for no apparent reason, and I've also been removed from a thread with no explanation. Please fix

Keeps glitching out and kicking me out the app.

As an A level student, I absolutely love the original site. Though, this app is very easy to use and is made up of interesting people. 10 out of 10.

I came here for the iPad but this app is really good and helpful for students ????

Hate the new app, preferred old one. Layout is weird and cannot see what I'm typing

Just updated to version 2.0.3 and now the app refuses to open. Every time I click on the app, my phone shows a message that says, "Unfortunately, Student Room has stopped". Worked fine before.

This is a good app. Developers have done a great job at keeping it smooth and faster than the actual website. There are a few limits though, the rep button does not respond and you can't access your own profile! However these are not really that important. So I would recommend this app anyday!

Much better than the old version of this app, and very easy to use. The only thing missing is the option to manage/edit your own profile or view others profiles. But other than that its great!!

On all the posts, the sentences and words are interupted with elipsis making them unreadable. Please help?

What hppened with the label or something. Which i wnt to ask questions it started to ask me to fill the label. As i tap the label it turns down my phone. Please fix this.

This is amazing!!!! I absolutely love TSR and it's so great to now have it in my pocket!!! You can tell how much hard work went into it and I'm so happy I've finally got my hands on it!!!

An Astoundingly Amazing app for students fun conversations and help with revision! Try the app and I guarantee you will fall in love with it!

It crashes when i try to send or type a message and is not as versatile as the website but nevertheless it functions on a basic level pretty well

This is deffo my favourite app at the moment. Fast and easy to use and I can chat with all my pals!! Great job guys.

A vast improvement!

This new app for TSR is great. It's so much more fluid and smooth than the last one, and it's so easy to navigate. I also love the new PM layout. Obviously it's new so there are a couple features that still being added (like giving rep) but developers are working to do that very soon. The best thing is that they listen to feedback, so if you have an idea for something you can contact them and if it's possible (and a good idea) they'll add it!

I couldn't even get past the login page. I logged on the actual website to make sure my credentials were correct, which they were, but yet the app won't log me in! Absolute rubbish!

Been able to log in fine, but when it actually comes to reading the forum's, I can't. there's always ... That block the rest of the words out e.g. i wan.... To beco.... At... Bit annoying this is.

Really brilliant app easy to use and great to find specific conversations but also just for procrastinating and scrolling through latest threads. Really addictive fun to use and fast.

TSR has something for everyone. This version is so much better than the old version of the app, and more features are to be added soon. Watch this space!

Good app so far. Pretty easy to use and navigate around. There are ofcourse many new features which I'm looking forward to which are available on the website. However, good stuff so far. Well done TSR team.

Literally been waiting for the app to look this good and work this good!

This update is fast, smooth and easy to use. There are lots of handy features (eg long press to quote) - it's definitely the best way to use TSR on mobile and a huge improvement on the old app.

Why do you need so much private information to run this app? Browser history, phone number, permission to read and alter information.
