Timelapse - Sony Camera

Doesn't work with Sony RX100 M3.. Establishes connection and connected to Sony API, but no remote display and error shown while capturing... Tried all delays 10-20 secs etc ... timelapse starts but doesn't seem to take a snap.. Rating hoping next update will fix the issue

It worked fine with the a6300. Although it wasn't supported, just needed to connect it as a6000 but since the update it doesn't connect. No matter to what I set it to, be it the a6300 or a6000. So plz fix it

A6000 I had trouble connecting at first so here's what I did: (On camera) Application List > Smart Remote Control (On phone) open Timelapse app > hit refresh until camera connects. You do not need to enter the wifi settings page on your phone to connect. Otherwise the app gets confused. And I think you have to download the latest version of Smart Remote Control on the camera.

Does the job perfectly. Could you add a notification that stays up while the time lapse is running? Would be nice to know if everything is still connected and running if I leave the app temporarily.

Connects to my camera and gives me a preview however when it is actually supposed to start taking pictures it doesn't. I have the Mkii and it only connects with under the mkiii. Will happily give it a higher rating if it's fixed!

HX90V connects to the camera and all fuctions work... However app keeps crashing after a few pictures... Can this please be fixed! A fantastic idea for the cameras that dont have the timelapse function built in!

Its really working in my sony a5100.. i thought i cant do a timelapse bow because my country does not support the timelapse app in playmemories.. this app really solved my problem. :> kudos to the creator.

I use this on my a6000 and works really well... You just have to make sure you've properly setup your cam with this app so that the cam refresh rate and thus app's timer won't mess up and avoid those missed shots:)

Used to work well with Sony A6000, newest update seems to have broken that. While the app will tell me that everything is good (3 checkmarks) the camera fails to go into shooting mode about 99 / 100 times. Downgrading to an older version (2.04) works every time or maybe buy the Sony app.

I use a wx80 and apart from the fact that the flash is used even if i switch it off and that the last pic taken is never shown. I would really like to use the settings of my camera rather than a default one provided by the app.

A nice idea on theory but in reality my S4 isn't able to connect as a hotspot, through NFC or via a direct wifi connection with the camera (that's right - even when the camera and phone are connected via wifi this app fails to detect the camera). So until Sony can overcome the apparently enormous technical obstacle of actually connecting the app to the camera via the phone, this app is as useful as a dead battery.

I'm new to photography and the app connected to my a6000 easily enough and seemed to work, but I have yet to find the pictures or any instructions for the app. Anyone able to explain this to me?

Randomly misses shots on the a6000 and then won't continue so you can't rely on it. I have my camera on 30s and the app on 35s and success with that setting on star trails for up to an hour before it the camera stopped but the app continued. Unfortunately won't work on bulb. Hope you can make this so it could become a really good one!

This USE to work with Sony RX100IV, please add it back. I turned on remote on the camera and connected by wifi. The issue it has is when you set the number of pics it still counts down even though the picture hasn't been taken. So setting it for 100 only yielded 49 for example one less than half of the number set. I would love to see advance setting for faster timelapse with half sec intervals.You will need a faster card also as my 65mb/sec card started to buffer.

It connects to a RX100IV and you can see the shot in the preview. However, after you set your interval etc., it doesn't work. On the app it will appear as if the shots are being taken but your camera is not taking those shots. Would love to see support for the RX100IV soon.

The app connects to my camera (HX90V) and displays the image from it. The zoom buttons work. The flash and 'take picture' buttons don't. When I start the time lapse it appears as if "frames" are being captured, but after stopping it, no pictures can be found on my camera or phone, or anywhere for that matter. Please fix this!, the idea of the app is great since Sony's app doesn't support my camera model. Thanks.

It's great if the app could change camera exposure to open certain amount of stops after specific amount of frames. This will help create longer, uninterrupted dawn/sunset timelapse.

It even works with my a6300! Just set it for a6000 and it is all good. Refresh after saying that webservice isn't working and you are done! Amazing app, keep it up!

Only problem is if you do less than 3 second intervals the camera has troubles keeping up with the frames.

It fails to connect to my a6000 after my OnePlus One updated to CM 13, worked fine before

After connecting with A6000, I realized it has its own camera settings. I set that in the camera then turned off long exposure NR. It works perfectly fine for night sky timelapse. Sony timelapse charges $10 whereas this is free. This app deserves 5 star for what it offers.

If you downloaded the Timelapse App on your Sony camera and noticed that you are limited to 990 shots... this app is a godsend. Thibaud keep developing it! If you could add some more advanced features such as iso/shutter/aperture controls and limits I am sure you would find a bunch of us are more than happy to pay for it. Thanks for this!

This camera is in the market for a long time and yet no support from this software for it!

its working pretty well in my Sony camera but I would like to see sum advanced settings hope the publisher will add new settings to this current time so that uses can enjoy the app for the app

Funciona de lujo en mi 5100! Ojo a los que dicen que no funciona por que probablemente la cámara os entre por defecto en modo de vídeo y por eso las tomas no se realizan, cambiar la cámara a modo auto o manual y el Time lapse ya funcionará! Muchas gracias por la app! Me habéis ahorrado 10 euracos de los agarrados de Sony.

Saves me spending £7.99 for Sony's app which is stupid expensive considering how much you spent on the camera!

Detect the a6000 wifi connection, can start the timelapse but nothing is captured.

Can you guys make it work with Sony a63000. I use it for my a6000 and it works fabulous. I love the app and it is very easy to use. Thanks again for such an amazing App

This app is looking for a WiFi but my phone IS generating the signal. Its a Hotspot. want so much to use this app. Can this be fixed? There won't be any WiFi where I want to take my camera
