About Visual metronome

A simple metronome using flashing lamps. It does NOT click, since the effort of clicking seems to make some Android metronomes lose time.

The tempo can be set by specifying bpm or by tapping a button.

Preset speeds can be stored for quick recall, and playlists of preset speeds can be saved to the SD card.

You are supposed to be able to same preset songs. Pressed every button On it but could not work out how to do it. How difficult would it have been to put a button On it that said "save as preset"

This is a simple and great app that does exactly what it is supposed to: provide visual and silent cues. I'm using this as a stationary rowing training aid, and it is helping me keep my strokes per minute perfectly when my phone is mounted to my rower.

It doesn't even make sound

I love this app, but I can't figure out how to save lists of presets. I use it to set initial tempo's in my band, but I'd like to save lists if that is possible.

I know this is a visual app, but wish it had audio too lol. And wish I could find it on iTunes so I could have it on my iPod....

N70%
by N####:

Great visuals but the count is off - 6 bpm short at 100; useless for my needs.

Y70%
by Y####:

Pretty good does what it says not sure if it will have stutters on slower phones.

Super excited and how do I SAVE my Tempos?

This is what I've been looking for for YEARS. For a performer, time compresses while on stage, and you wind up starting most pieces too fast. With this, I just created a quick playlist of song titles and metronome settings. No, you don't keep watching it while you play, but you look at it before you start the tune, and it'll get you recalibrated to at least kick it off at the proper speed. I look at it and say "man, it's going really slow..." which is an indication to me that I need to slow myself down. EXCELLENT.

This app definitely has the right idea, but its layout could be a little more straight-forward. My band and I also found that the app frequently went off beat or off-tempo all together. I'm using a Note 5, so I'm doubting the phone is the issue - but, you never know.

It's good to have visual indication and all, but a metronome is sort of supposed to... keep a constant pace. A minor oversight, I guess.

O70%

Works fine but the tempo is not the same as the other professional metronomes at higher tempo. But the beats are consistent.

There is no way my LG G4 can access the settings. PLEASE FIX!!!

Every single feature as I would have made it myself. I am a professional drummer. I don't need sounds. I don't need fancy subdivisions or other bells/whistles. I do need set lists, clear lights, and simple one handed navigation. The fact it has a good tap tempo algorithm is a plus. The fact set lists can be saved is a plus. Set list manipulation is also a breeze. PERFECT

It has no sound because it is a visual only metronome, and visually I think this one is really good.

It works well and what I'm looking for. Although when maximising to full screen, the count gets thrown off otherwise would have given it a 5/5. Maybe that would be fixed. But well done.

This metronone is solid, practical and functional which also stores settings for your songs in a song library. Thanks for such an awesome app!

Works fine, though I wished there's an option to turn off auto rotate since it have issues with it. I can do that in the phone system menu anyway.

Visual Metronome: Appears to be everything we're looking for. No prolonged use as yet, but no pop ups when in use so far. Straight forward and clear. Thumbs up See above

Good app, but please make the lamps bigger. Right now, you basically have to look right at the screen in order to use this. If the lamps were bigger (taking up the whole screen, ideally!) you could use the app even if the screen were only in your peripheral vision, which would be much, much more useful.

S70%
by S####:

The presets and flashing makes it easy to use, but the flashing really needs to be larger. Flash the whole screen, even.
