What are users saying about Aurora Forecast

Broken! There's an error message in place of the Northern Hemisphere picture, and the real time of the sun images just swirl as in loading, but never load. It's been broken for months and it doesn't appear to be supported anymore.

C70%
by C####:

Really not sure about this app. Great idea, but it doesn't appear to be managed well by the developer. Links to external NASA images have not been updated for months now and error messages are now displayed all the time. It is a shame, because, despite paying for alerts, I think I might have to delete it from my phone to make space for a other app.

C70%
by C####:

Forecast feature has crashed and will no longer open. Not that it would matter if it did since it is NEVER right. While I understand forecasting the lights is an imperfect science, I live in Alaska, I should be far enough North for somewhat reliable results. Wasted. Money.

K70%
by K####:

Used to work great, but apparently no longer maintained by developers. Gives image errors due to inactive/bad links.

C70%
by C####:

Overlooking it's aurora prediction inaccuracy... A recent update of this app has resulted in no images of the sun and being locked in a refresh mode

A70%
by A####:

Image links within the app have been broken for some time. It's obviously not maintained by the developer. Uninstalled.

K70%
by K####:

No longer supported. Not show ovstion maps.

C70%
by C####:

Never has updates and doesn't work after purchasing. Map image doesn't show anymore Edit: map still doesn't show, July 3, 2017

C70%
by C####:

Great app but the source of the images are now JPG files and won't load.

C70%
by C####:

Northern (or Southern) forecast would never load on my Samsung GS4.

Have a "forecast" for a full 24 hours timespan is pointless. I know there's a storm coming that bumps the Kp up to at least 5 for about 6 hours, yet your app shows a Kp of 3. So either your data doesn't update, it's misleading (because of timespan) or it's just wrong. And just as an aside - for a graph to have any use it, needs and X AND Y axis. So this app is a great idea that just hasn't been fully realised. Paying for alerts is pointless if I can't rely on your data. Uninstalled.

Q70%
by Q####:

I like this app, and bought the notifications on iPhone, it always alerted me at the wrong times, so I'm just going to avoid that on this one. Still a very useful app.

I70%
by I####:

The forecast screen doesn't update accurately, and the alerts seem to be for predicted KP, which isn't predictable, and not actual events.

S70%
by S####:

The alert clock didnt not show out to do setting.

Great

S70%

App is still showing information from 3 months ago and doesn't refresh. Daily auroral maps don't update either and constantly show outdated information.

Y70%
by Y####:

perfect for astrophotography, alerts or not, it does what I need. thanks for this app

V70%
by V####:

Love the app but the clarity of the photos and charts when expanded could be a little more in focus, so to speak, other than that its an amazing app

F70%
by F####:

Poor explanation of information and for presentation of information

Z70%
by Z####:

This is a great resource to have on hand. Would love to see live individual station readings as well, but that could be too bulky for an app like this, which is perfect on its own.
