This simple application does just that in 3 easy steps:
1. Start it up, select the files that are not loud enough
2. Set the amplification factor
3. Amplify!
This app can boost the volume of your music or other MP3 files up to eight times louder!
This MP3 booster WILL NOT CHANGE YOUR ORIGINAL FILES! It will create amplified versions of them in the Music folder on your SD card (or external storage).
♫ You don't need to learn to use expensive and complicated audio applications like SoundForge or mp3 gain, this simple app can take care of all your volume increasing needs.
♫ Also very useful for audio books where the talking can sometimes be almost whisper-like. Amplify those files, and don't miss anything while driving or working out.
♫ Use your phone to its full potential, make those speakers blast that ringtone super loud! The real limitation now is the physical capabilities of those speakers and headphones.
☛ Warning: too much amplification can cause distortion! Use the built-in preview function to test the result before actually doing the conversion.
You can even choose to use the resulting files as your phone's ringtone!
☛ NOTE: since phone processors are weaker than desktop or laptop processors, amplifying a file sometimes can take significantly longer than on a real computer. This is the limitation of the hardware, as MP3 Amplifier already uses fully optimized MP3 processing implemented in native code.
If your MP3 files get sped up (chipmunk effect) instead of getting amplified PLEASE SEND US THE ORIGINAL FILE so we can analyze and fix the problem!

This was, by far, the greatest app until this update. This version does not read the folders on my external SD card, and so it is now impossible to amplify a whole album of songs at once like it used to be in the older version. It is much much slower in loading even one song and in amplifying them, often causing the phone to lag. It is completely ruined. All in all, this app, for me, no longer works, and you've lost me. I still have the older version though in my other phone. It does NOT even work anymore.

It amplifies ok but the slider for gain is a pain. Would be nice to be able to type in a value as well. Also, it strips song title and artist information from the amplified song creating the need to get an mp3 tag editor. This creates a lot of work for the user to have to tag all the amplified songs. I will uninstall.

When amplifying an .MP3, after it is finished boosting the volume of the file, the runtime increases by 10+ seconds. Also, I just wish there was a feature on this app where you could boost/reduce the bass, mid-range, and treble of an .MP3 individually

No way to access SD card and find mp3 files. Mp3 files are not detected. Crashes badly.

Worked great in the past but now my music files are listed as "null [amplified]" in every music player app but file explorers recognize the files name as "[Amped] *Song title here*" please fix

It works!!!!!!!!!! Why the bad reviews, all you have to do is hold down on the song you selected and boost the sound then hit amplify, if it's still not loud enough clear list go back in your file and reamplify the already amplified one. Trust me I'm deaf now lol JP

You can change the gain on an MP3 by editing the frame headers for non-destructive volume control. This app actually decodes and re-encodes the MP3 which damages the audio data :(

It really worked.. For those who say it didnt work.. Kindly check file destination after amplifying, sort ur file manager to desc date and browse some folders, you will definitely find ur file, check in phone memory as well as sd card.. My file path was phone/music/song.mp3
