My Opal - Opal Card App

Regularly logs out. Doesn't recognize username & password. Frustrating. Uninstalled.

Changed to other app Opal sense, free, as this app took to long to refresh, and seemed to be downloading alot.

Great application, does what's required very well. HTC One M7, HTC One Max, Lollipop 5.02 & Sense 6.0.

There is another app called my travel works more efficient and for free!!

Cool being able to read my own card instantly. Checking my Opal balance and journey history is really quick. Widget is pretty too. Nice work!

Great App, does what it says on Samsung s3. It is quick and accurate for my 2 cards which I can swipe between. Excellent support from the developer. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a great and useful Opal App. I bought the NFC feature, works exactly as described.

Tiresome login back in.

Balance is wrong, seems to change to random amounts whenever I tag on/odf. Also says I'm not on a journey when I am.

A little miffed that NFC scanning is an additional cost, considering the app from NSW State Transport has this feature FREE. And most important of all - where's the Friday confetti!?

NFC worked fine on my note 3 however doesn't work on my hand new htc10 on marshmallow, rom v1.3

Accurate, easy to use, looks very nice and excellent support if needed highly recommended

Widget!! How the hell we know if we have 4 accounts like I do. We need names on the widgets please.

Well that's the only reason I bought this app, and it's the only thing I use. I turn on NFC, tap my card, get positive feedback noise but no option to launch this app. I've only had this app for a month or so and now that the govt has released a free one... Which works.... :/ edit: oh great thanks that worked. Don't worry about the old functionality I guess. You should probably update the instructions on the NFC screen then because I reading that over and over wondering what I had done wrong!

Beautiful app with nice colours and big icons to let you know what transport you have taken. App mentions the off peak times, day caps and on peak times. Updates quite fast and all additional features work.

Installed this app and found it read my opal card every time i closed my case which held my card even when the app was closed. This became very annoying. Sent a note to the developers and they replied straight away with a workaround. Two weeks later another reply saying the app was fixed and ready on play store. Great customer service. Very handy app.

My Opal does what it says and enables you to keep tabs on your Opal card usage. Now Opal card is on all the public transport in Sydney I find this small and tidy app very useful, and easier than logging into the Opal site with a PC. Full marks to the developer for keeping it simple and it looks great. The NFC reading of the Opal Card is an extra bonus for a tiny additional cost.

Great app! Bought this because of the NFC feature that I heard about. Works perfectly. It would be nice to see a few more details when reading the card via NFC, such as the last few transactions (if possible). Also I think a login for unregistered cards would be good too, as I had to register my card so the app could work. EDIT: Just found a minor bug. It shows "already tapped on" after I attempted tapping on at the station and got an error with balance too low.

Really love the new feature that allows you to tap you phone against the opal card to get the balance. Great design and widgets!

The NFC option is great, we'll worth the extra 99¢, and the history from the opal website is clear and easy to read. My biggest complaint is the fate calculator, which only seems to calculate concession fares, rather than full fares, and can't link multiple trips together for a total journey cost.

I paid for the app and now you want money again for the NFC feature? Give me a break! There are similar apps for free out who can soon do the same for free.

Card Scanning Awsomeness! This will come in very handy when the screen is not working and I am not sure whether it worked or not. Would like to be able to resize the widget (if only to centre it).

I cant believe people are whinging about 99c upgrade. Thanks for your continued development. There is a typo in the NFC report status where it says 'In Tranist', instead of 'In Transit'.

I've already purchased the app and now you want to charge me for NFC functions. I think that's a cynical move. You should state on your Play page that it's a separate function that needs to be purchased separately.
