Cosmic Scan

Cosmic Scan is a free Android App for any promoters or door staff that are using Cosmic Ticketing for their event.

With this app you can use your Cosmic Ticketing promoter login to download the ticket sales list directly to an Android device. You can then use the app to scan the 2D barcode that can be found on the e-ticket, POS ticket or directly from the screen of any smartphone that can display the 2D barcode. You can also enter barcode numbers manually, or simply tick them off from the door list displayed.

To download the door list you need a valid GPRS or Wi-Fi (internet) connection. If you are just using one phone you do not have to have the phone connected to the internet to scan people in as long as you have turned off store and web sales prior to downloading or updating (syncing) the door list. If you are using more than one phone you need to have a valid internet connection on all the devices so they can sync with the database and each other.

You must have ZXing Barcode Scanner installed on the Android device first before Cosmic Scan will install correctly. ZXing Barcode Scanner is free and can be found on Google Play at:

You can use your volume control to turn on/off the flash.

Camera on device
(An alternate light source may be required for low light environments)
Cosmic Ticketing account

This app is only for promoters and door staff using Cosmic Ticketing, this app has no use for the general public.
