Sygic Travel Maps Offline

This function used to be included in the paid Sygic program. Now it is a separate program. Will go back to Google maps. Do not recommend this product

Won't let me create a trip. Keeps failing at date entry screen.

Great potential but Google trips give more details and information on how to get around, transport tickets, attractions based on your actual location, information about health centres and hospitals, information about driving in the city you are visiting...(This is only available in some cities) I paid for the premium and honestly it ain't that worthy. Also, it is 2017 and you are dismissing SD card storage, it is convenient for storing the offline maps!

One of those apps you never thought you want to have, but once you have it you can't imagine how you could have planned a trip without it! Perfect for sightseeing planning with distance calculations, automatic trip optimizations and templates. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to organize trips in a fun an easy way. Connecting it to Sygic Navigation is an easy way to reach the destination when for example driving is needed. Search might need some polishing whatever is not in the database basically doesn't exist and it's difficult to find exact addresses down to house number level.

Total rubbish. Everyone I go to input a trip it says failed to set trip. Useless.

I love the routes and the time prediction, saving so much time to schedule the trip before the actual trip

There is a learning curve, but it already works well from the get-go. If you want to create your own tour it is hard to beat, and seamlessly integrates hotel booking and navigation. Public transit would be great if it was integrated, but I hear that is coming in the future. Walking navigation is a bit jittery, but works. You can always use Sygic navigator from within the app if that is a problem and if you have it installed. The app does feel like it has a lot more potential than I used yet, but that it is partly hidden and partly still in development. Can't put my finger on it. However, as it is it's already great in its own right. Planning on the PC is an extremely useful part of it and also well executed. I wish that also existed for the navigation app.

It is a good application to plan your trip and get information about the sightseeing . It does pretty good job for best route planning. But it needs some very important improvements: 1. Route calculation time increases dramatically if a trip is for several days and includes many point. It turns to be frustrating sometimes. 2. Although you can assign a time for sights and it calculates time between destinations, it does not updates time for the next destination. It turns to be an issue if you rearrange a sequence and now you must update time manually for each destination. 3. The app give a limited option of the route between destination, either walking or by car. It is ok inside the city, but if you fly between cities not afar you will not get such an option, only for distant cities. I would suggest to let all transport options. 4. If a place is not predefined as a hotel, you must assign staying time overnight. The app does not assign as for hotels. So I would add an option assign as hotel or camping etc. 5. I would desperate like to have the app export to calendar option. It would really help for scheduling. 6. Offline save on SD card for not only maps, but some chosen sights cached info. 7. The app is good for city travel, but outdoor places are very limited. I needed to plan a travel to Patagonia, I found almost nothing. So I would like to see more info about remote and outdoor places.

With Google Trips, there's really no point in buying this app, but it's ok and well done!

Very usefull. I got lost in Paris during the riot and I was able to find my way back to my hotel.

Don't​ Install, Hey SYGIC, your app is mony waster because your offline feture and 360° view​ is provided absolutely​ free on GOOGLE EARTH with large 360° photos collection and he is fast than SYGIC TRAVEL,

It is crashing and becomes unusable. I am going back to use Google maps and trips.

Love the idea but haven't used it yet. Hope to be what they promise!

Easy to use. Has some interesting information for my upcoming trip.

Excellent trip planner

Love this app

A very good app for planning detailed tourist trips. You can create detailed walk plans with suggested walk routes which show on off line maps. My only criticism is that one cannot plan travel using public transport eg train, bus or ferries. The only options are walk, fly or drive. However you can include railway stations, bus and ferry stops. Otherwise great.

UPDATE: It has now wiped all my trips off the desktop version too. Absolute waste of a lot of time. The app seems totally useless when you can't view a trip you've planned on desktop on the app. I have 6 or 7 trips planned on my PC but the app shows 0 trips. Very disappointing.

Been using this app for a long time already in planning our trips. Love the fact that it shows the tourist spot locations in the map. Helps in grouping nearby sites. Wish that the subway feature be more interactive and not just mere maps. Have yet to see a better app in trip planning.

I would give it 5 stars as it was brilliant when it worked. Now, however, while I can bring up basic trip itinerary, nothing else is working. Maps, places, basically all the info associated. Did you just update?

Easy to use. Great for touring as you can visualise your route and places to visit on the map. Useful calculations of both travelling time and distance between places. Must continue using to explore additional features, functionality and applications.

Doesnt integrate with other sygic apps already purchases ie sygic maps with offline map co tent already purchased

Unable to update, show error 505 , I tried to uninstall and now unable to install again. Same error 505. Not user friendly

Great travel planning app! I use several different travel planning apps and this is my favorite.

Bought the Premiun and used it in Paris for 3 days, its ok and pretty good, maybe the best app yet to manage your trip day on a city that you never been before. In my opinion the map itinerary should be improved, we first got the whole day itinerary and when we go to gps/walking mode you have to choose the next destination manualy and meanwhile, all the day path disapear until you go to the day itinerary again. Another thing to improve is when we choose one landmark (monument etc) before the trip, we should been able to choose if we want to make the specific tour (spending the time that the app already show to us) or just passing by (take photos at the monument or something) per example the Louvre Museum, I just passed by for it and took some pictures, didnt went inside for the tour because I would lost a day in there, literaly, and the time spent for that day on the app wasnt the real one.

Love creating the itinerary w/ route, duration, weather. Would like to be able to give name Day Trips which move if you change day scheduled. Editing notes very buggy, must retype entire note. Needs more transportation information. Missing popular tours. Great potential to be a powerful trip planning app if developed.

Searching a destination is really a pain in this navigation app most of the time you cannot even find the popular destinations even in Metropolitan cities but once destination is set it works flawlessly.

The only thong is that its very slow when you are offline
