Recalls and Safety Alerts

Excellent!

Used to be fantastic but no longer works - doesn't connect to the internet, even though the rest of my apps do.

This isn't really an app so much as a web view wrapping the website... You can just as easily open the website on your device without needing this app, so I don't really see the point. It always requires a connection (which is fine, generally), but the servers are terribly slow considering how little data is actually being transferred. I hoped for an app that could send me daily push notifications on my phone so I'd see any new recalls. That's just not possible because, like I said, this isn't really an app.

A quick way to view Health Canada's recall notices. Saved searches are a nice way to check for recalls from stores you shop from and brands frequently bought.

The app is less functional since alerts are less shareable compared to the website. Website allows you to share alerts, etc, to Facebook where app requires you to have Facebok mobile app installed. If there's an automatic email alert mail list, I'd subscribe to that instead untill this app is improved. I'm uninstalling this app.

Apr 7/16, ver 1.5 wasn't working on new phone/system. Upgraded and voila it not only works but it appears that the issues with the back button have been fixed as well. Giving 4 stars for now, not sure what it would take for 5, ...

This app is working again :-) (Can only assume it stopped working because of former government) EVERY Canadian should have this app just as an easy way of keeping up to date on safety recalls of products they own.

Samsung Gl s4. It was working nicely untill i upgraded the android system. It can not load. Needs upgrading.

Had this interesting app downloaded before with my old phone, and now it's a No Go to get it now. Due to government cutbacks?

Opens perfectly for me on an old samsung. Great one stop place for important alerts and recalls.

Doesn't do anything. Works on my iPad but not on note 4. Disappointing.

Completely useless - just like the government that spawned it. Maybe they will fix it after a ten year study on the viability of the internet as a means of disseminating information...

Spinning wheel of death and app never opened. Will now remove.

When it works

For three days, it says it can't connect to the Internet/won't open. Since everything else can connect just fine, I'm assuming it's a super irritating problem on the apps end.

Auto recalls have not seen an update in 3 months although the other sections seem to be updating quite often.

Great app, recommend to all canadians

Only has Canada recalls. ..unless in the US.

Lots of good recall information

This app is pretty garbage. The user experience sucked a year ago, and it sucks now. I was surprised that it still received and displayed information from Health Canada, albeit poorly. Please update. It's so sad, but it's no surprise considering it's a government app.
