KidsCare - Child Lock

This was a good app at first, but now all it does is freeze and glitch. It takes 15 minutes for the games to load and freezes most of the time while it's doing that. After you exit out by entering the password and start to do other things you get a message stating you do not have permission and brings you straight back to the app to enter the password again. I do not recommended this app.

It is good perhaps for timing activities. If you want it to keep your kids off the internet and out of your email, check somewhere else. If the apps you use have ads,e.g. feed my fish, the ads still pop up and go to the browser and Play store. If the user hits the app's exit button and then the phone's 'open tabs' button, they can get into all programs running previously that weren't manually swiped closed.

It has been great but reason I only gave 4 stars is because when I put it on the second phone I can't get it to load the pictures for different users, just shows their names with a white square. How can I fix this?

My kids are able to get into things they are not allowed to! Super frustrating

Very good until 2016 update. Now internet access able in supposed locked games.

Black desktop not very kid-friendly, Great app otherwise

This app is wonderful, there is nothing about it that doesn't make me, as a parent feel safe.

This has been my go to app for my kids until the recent android update. My kids can now access browser and play store even though those apps are not allowed for them.

Excellent tool for us. Help me for timing and controlled the access to any application without permission

Love it!

We can only play using this app on our nexus 7 for about 30 seconds at a time. After 30 seconds the tablet would shut off.

My daughter bought a $7 app so i tried this one out & it works perfectly...only spent .99 but still worth more!!

Very simple to set up and use and does exactly what it advertises.

My 3 yr old was always calling ppl & downloading apps. This app was easy to use & works perfectly! Very pleased.

We can let our 3 year old play games and not worry about her downloading games and changing settings.

I don't have to worry about my grandson getting into anything on my phone or tablet when using this app. Love it!

Love the timer and different accounts for kids. Needs some polish IMHO, hence 4 stars.

This app is amazing if you have kids like mine who like to text and call people when they have your phone.

I love this app I can control where my child goes even how long he can play.

This app works perfectly. Keep the kids out of my things, separates their games with pictures as icons which gives them a sense of individuality, and has a timer for usage so they arent on my phone all day. 5 stars

Now it will not load profile photo. Otherwise works well.

Only thing missing is the ability to keep kids out of the task bar at the top. It allows them to access WiFi settings, screen brightness, etc.

I have had app for about 30 min & already want to uninstall. It only works with a couple of my kids' apps & completely blocks the other ones. Within the apps it "works" with, it kicks you out of the app if you accidentally tap on an ad rather than just not taking you to the ad. Complete waste of 99 cents!

My 2 yr old loves playing on my phone and getting into things. This has helped in keeping her out of my pictures and others apps and calling people... lol. .. really like this app

Does good job of keeping the little one in with just her apps. Couple of things though... does not seem to allow booting directly into it... also, exit button is too easy to bring up and does not go away again... surely there should be a short timeout on this? ...lastly, when you put in the pin to exit, it goes back to profile chooser without obvious exit from there. Back key works from there but exiting properly (I.e. without going via profile selector) would surely have been better in the first place, no?

By far the best app to keep grubby hands out of places they should not be. Keeps my kids contained only to those places that I ok.

Its OK but my 1 yr old still gets out of it

This app locked my phone repeatedly.

The app works perfectly I'm really glad that it blocks all apps you don't have selected and that you don't want your kids into. It also blocks Internet regardless of where you are in the phone. Very very happy with this app Thanks.

For me this hasn't worked out. Jabtalk and VocalSlides2 do not work properly with this.

This works great for my 2 yr old.
