Downloaded it as it was advertised in the pub. Ordered an ale, bartender tried to scan the qr code for 5min, couldn't do it. In the end was charged the full price.

It's a good idea and would be a good app if the codes actually worked, bar man entered it several times to no prevail in Edinburgh.

25p off every pint is good enough, pint for £1 that pops up after every 10 times I use this is a very welcome bonus. The pub finder feature is a useful extra and make this a really handy app to have. The special offers that appear are amazing! Last month they had a free pint if you ordered food and this month pint for £1 on almost all ale and cider. I check this most days just to see what new surprises it has for me.

Excellent selection of first class beers at the Clachan. Team helpful and friendly. Nicholsons Pale was bright and perfectly refreshing.

I have tried using this in many Nicholson's pubs in Edinburgh & Londonand only once have I been able to get any discount. Even when staff key in the QR code manually it still does not get recognised. Also, try using it in a busy pub! Waste of space. The developers never reply to any complaints, so that's customer service for you. Nicholson's, sort yourself out.

The QR code scanning is a bit poor as the tills don't seem to recognize it. I have tried in 2 separate pubs in London to claim the welcome reward but it does not scan. The 25p discount code eventually scans but can lead to hold ups at the bar.

Wouldn't accept some data & couldn't find name of local pub. Also had trouble with concept of an age of 40+ being older than 18. Waste of space. Don't bother! As 0.01 stars aren't an option & a star rating is required I'll round it up to 1.
