Muntref

El MUNTREF abrió sus puertas al público en el año 2002 con el objetivo de construir un espacio abierto para las artes y al servicio de la comunidad. Arte para Todos es el lema desde el que se despliega en cada muestra un vasto programa de actividades destinadas a diferentes públicos, con particular atención al programa educativo para escuelas.

El museo es un puente capaz de hacer circular socialmente las investigaciones sobre arte y artistas argentinos, latinoamericanos y también de aquellos referentes del movimiento moderno y contemporáneo internacional. Por esta razón, funciona además como espacio de encuentro, desarrollo y experimentación para distintas áreas de la universidad: Gestión del Arte y la Cultura, Artes Electrónicas, Ingeniería de Sonido, Historia y la Maestría en Curaduría en Artes Visuales, entre otras.

Además de las muestras de grandes maestros del arte moderno argentino e internacional que el MUNTREF ofrece desde hace años en su sede original del campus de Caseros, ahora agrega toda la compleja trama de soporte y diversidad de expresiones de lo más representativo del arte contemporáneo desde sus cuatro sedes: El Museo de Artes Visuales, el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo, Museo de la Inmigración, y Arte y Ciencia. The MUNTREF opened its doors to the public in 2002 with the goal of building an open for the arts and community service space. Art for All is the theme from which a vast program of activities aimed at different audiences, with particular attention to the educational program for schools is deployed in each sample.

The museum is a bridge able to circulate socially research on art and artists from Argentina, Latin America and also those concerning international modern and contemporary movement. For this reason, also functions as a meeting, development and testing for different areas of the university: Management of Art and Culture, Electronic Arts, Audio Engineering, History and MA in Curating Visual Arts, among others.

In addition to the samples of great masters of Argentine and international modern art that MUNTREF offers for years in its original headquarters campus Caseros, now adds the entire complex web of support and diversity of expressions of the most representative of contemporary art from its four venues: the Museum of Visual Arts, the Contemporary Art Center, Immigration Museum, and Art and Science.
