This app appears to be a very good source for staying current in endocrinology, as well as quick lookup of drug information and CME credit. The news sections include an overall area called "Latest Content" as well as diabetes, thyroid, bone metabolism, and additional topics. Each section includes a frequently updated list of brief, informative articles, with one or more bibliographical citations as well as links to other, related articles within the app. The "Drugs" section encompasses all areas of medicine, not just endocrinology. Coverage of endocrinology drugs is broken down into subsections on corticosteroid-responsive disorders, diabetes, pituitary disorders, and thyroid disease. Each drug monograph is thorough and well organized. The CME section offers courses on a variety of topics, each of which is followed by review questions. Answering these correctly earns you varying numbers of CME credits, which you can redeem immediately. The app generally seems to work very smoothly. However, this reviewer was unable to find any medical calculators, which are among the features mentioned in the publisher's description.
