Iqbal Demystified

I'm not from Pakistan but I love Sir Dr. Mohammad Iqbal (RA), I love his message to mankind. In fact, he is a man of God (Allah swt) and he had a mission to wake up Muslims of the world as he says in one of his Farsi poems (بی نیازی نه ز شوریده نوایم مگذر... مرغ لاهوتم و از دوست پیامی دارم ).. Don't pass recklessly by my melody... for I'm a divine bird and have a message from friend (Allah swt ). Appreciate and spread this divine message if you want to be resurrected with Allama Iqbal RA.

This app is going to make you admire him more. The ease with which the translation is available and the ease of sharing makes it a great app. I would request the developers the following a. To complete the persian translation b. To complete the word for word translation c. To consider removing reference to the app when sharing. I share a lot of the verses of Iqbal and with each one the reference comes again and again which is a bit annoying for the reader.

The vision and the sight of Iqbal is free of all the shackles that limit man and hinder him, and his message ignites desire for the Truth. This app is serving a noble, very noble purpose and that too in a very convenient and meaningful way.

I like it but there is alot of scope for improvement. There r alot of mistakes also like the translation given for a particular couplet is of a different couplet. That can b well taken care of.

A wonderfully crafted much needed piece of work... Please add prose of iqbal such as reconstruction of mualim thought and his 1903 book on economics as very few ppl have exposure to those and consider iqbal a poet only which is a tragedy given the multi dimensional nature of his works across the fields of politics economics philosophy etc. Jazaak allah

It's great to read Iqbal like this, with translation. Butter a little problem, kindly put check on translation people provide, sometimes it's wrong and irrelevant, which is misleading. I know understanding Iqbal it's difficult, but anyone shouldn't be mislead

Excellent app. Exactly the thing I wanted. Though the community onboard is not very active. I hope people more knowledgeable in iqbaliaat join and comment in the app. A commendable effort and a sound base platform nonetheless

Is there a way to send an entire poem as message?sending Verse by verse is tiresome

This is the best app for Iqbal's poetry I could find. It is really well made, thoughtful and easy to use. Some of the translations leave something to be desired but I'm not complaining. I can finally read Iqbal on the go and understand his poetry much better now. Oh and it has an audio section too. How cool is that?

This app is really good if you want to understand Iqbal s poetry. It has good translations as well as annotations, explaining the references made in the poetry. It also has the audio feature which helps in understanding the pronunciation of words and a discussion forum. Whoever made this app, and that too for free, has done a great service to the urdu language.

Thank you very much for adding Persian poetry with translation. It would be great if you please add Transliteration for Persian work specially. It will help non Persian speakers to pronounce correctly.

Awesome app.......Helps u understand and learn the work of Dr.Allama Iqbal(R.A.).....The audio feature is great for the people who can't be able to read some of the difficult words......Overall a great app

despite the fact app mentions "download complete", there is no such downloaded file in phone memory..and once i try to play it, downloading starts again... please address this issue..otherwise it is a great app.. thumbs up

While watching Mr Qasim Ali Shah Lecture on the Education Philosophy of Iqbal, in the start of session Mr Umar shared information about International Iqbal Society. Although i liked at on Facebook and download it instantly. I will simply say that our Mission (Youth ) is to promote our education and stand in every platform to present transparent image of Great Pakistan. Please if we want peace and prosperity we have to stand against Illiteracy, poverty and Terrorism. Thanks

This app has everything one needs while reading Allama Iqbal's(r.a) poetry. Actually the age we live in some people are selling their garbages( ash'aar) and associating it with Allama sahab. By doing this, they are spreading the misconception and trying to stain the image of a great philosopher. This is the app I was looking for. Thank you all the team members who have given their precious contribution.

Add explanations also not just only meaning , add an explanation paragraph or summary so readers can understand the lines very well deeply not just read the lines. Also a great work by IIS. Failed to explain. Wrong translation also. Like in La Ilaha Ilalah poem, taigh e fasan means magical weapon not "dull edged sword" that you have written.

I was unable to read all the poems of allama iqbal correctly..but now this app has voice facility as well as in english conversion....thank u guys

This is the perfect app for anyone who wants to study urdu literature but can't get themselves to do it. With daily reminders, English translations and explanations....it is complete.

Why can't I download the full audio for the poetry? I tried to download some audio but they ended in 4 or 5 seconds after downloading. Please fix it

Like this app ... no other app can match it but one suggestion Please... Add handy notes and explanations to every poem with special reference to the historical background of the poem and in what circumstances it was written.

You have put quite a lot of effort in making this app so useful. It makes Iqbal quite accessible for the lazy people like me.

It was nice to know about Janab Iqbal Sb. He is great thinker and islamic scholar i think. Very nice app i just want to comment on one thing will you plz add feature that we will copy this stanza and easily share with other social apps.

This app helped me alot in understanding iqbal's poetry. I still have a request though. Please also add urdu translation of each verse. And translation of some verses is missing please fix that. Translation of the 1st verse is visible in 2nd verse

My demand is so high but anyhow i am sure you will think about it first try to update things fast and more please include some translation like book and also books that written by many people in the honour of sir iqbal (RA)

Actually I was waiting for such an app since long. Past,Presently and in future too, Iqbal is only poet which I likes. His poetry at many places reminds us about QURAN actually.

May Allah bless you all for this app...I've been looking for all of Allama Iqbal's poem in both Farsi and Urdu (and with the English translation and transliteration, awesome)...so many contemporary Islamic scholars from the likes of Sheikh Fazlur Rahman Ansari to even Iran's Imam Khamenei shows how much of a intellectual giant Iqbal is...Just a request, please continue to update at least all the books and the english translations as there are still missing pieces here and there....overall thank you..

It has poems, ghazals and ABOVE ALL it has english translations and urdu meanings too! Amazing. Keep up the good work! I will be even more impressed if Mirza Ghalib's poetry is presented in the same way by your team.
