Daily VICE: Fido Edition

How can this be an actual app or service? Videos don't even work on my brand new S7 Edge. People should not install this. It is not worth just to read 2 or 3 unrelated article to my daily life.

What's wrong with your app? I can't see any videos, all I see is a black screen with a white horizontal line... Did you test it before releasing it?

Content Is phenomenal but many of us millennials rely on our phones and a chromecast for TV. You are the biggest source of news I watch since I refuse to sign up for cable. Get chromecast support, so I can enjoy the news on TV. My viewing will increase ten fold!!!!!!

Videos no longer work and Fido support (listed in app) has ignored my email request regarding the problem

Videos don't play. App is pointless. It's not a connection issue; WiFi works with everything else. (Nexus 4, latest Android 5.x)

Totally non functional - from the start. Videos don't play. Stories are 3 days behind and are probably aggregated from Facebook and/or YouTube feeds. I tried to get this working - stopped process, cleared cache,reinstalled - no success. Does Fido even know this is non functional? Better yet - who cares - we don't need this - there are apps out there that work.

Content never plays - also it's all available free online, I seriously don't get the point of this...

And judging by other reviews the app is just flat out broken on all devices.

Great app when it works.. But usually it just crashes as soon as it is opened. LG G4.

Videos don't work on my bran new galaxy s6 got 2 years for free from fido and the app doesn't even work just shows a black screen with a white horizontal line wtf?!?!?!?!

All is in the title, not sure what are the specs of the video player but it did not do the job at all

I want to like this, I really do. But none of the videos load. I ended up deleting it. A black mark on Vice.

My phone LG G2 with SlimKat ROM and i can't even download the app on my phone because it says does not compatible with my phone, SlimKat running KitKat version 4.4.4 so i don't see why it blocking the download for SlimKat users.

My main problem is that the app doesn't display videos in true full screen. This is especially annoying on soft-button devices like the Nexus 5, where a large portion of the screen remains obscured by buttons. Even with the lack of support for Android immersive mode, the video controls don't get tucked away like most modern video apps.

Does not rotate automatically

All videos quit playing after about 15 seconds, but the audio keeps playing until the end. Using a OnePlus One Android phone with Cyanogen 12.

I love Fido, and I love Vice! I'm very happy with this new feature.
