VICE News

For a news outlet that is known for not holding back on anything it sure seems like they've held quite a bit back in regards to this app. When i first opened the app the top featured news story dated from 2 months earlier. But then i found de refresh button and after the refresh the most recent story was from 3 weeks earlier. Close call, i almost had the impression that the apl was running a bit behind. But as it turn out its always fully up to date on all the news from 3 weeks earlier. An absolute waste of megabytes, time and space. Do not download!!

Vice News (though I despise prod. Bill Maher) is the rawest, most impactful, NON-FAKE news network I've ever watched. They steer clear of the futile sensationalist stories that poison world citizens on a daily basis. It's better to watch on HBO Go though

I love Vice and the way they cover the news. But the articles on Vice News are never current and with the intensely polarized political climate we have today, Vice News always seems to be months behind on the headlines. Though their committed focus and journalistic integrity is still commendable, the slow pace of their reporting undermines the impact that it could have.

Most articles are very outdated, which for a news source is a serious failure. I'm a fan of Vice and their investigative reporting, but they better start reporting current news, or will have to go to another source.

App refused to update despite trying uninstall and reinstall. Lots of other users experincing same problem after goigle search. Gave up and uninstalled...SAD!

It's ambiguous whether this app is connected to the VICE news HBO series because there is very very little content on this app. I downloaded it about 3 or 4 wks ago and it is still all the same content and stories as then. There are quite a few VICE apps out there, ill try something else.

The stories are several months out of date. Is the app supported anymore?

Seems they have stopped updating with current news, the most recent stories are several weeks old. Don't waste your time.

App doesn't update. Still has news from January. I have uninstalled and re-installed. Hell I changed phones and have been looking at the same news stories.

3-4 stories a week is not enough to call yourself a news app. Good products when produces, but stories are cherry picked, and far to often. Edit: It's been almost a month and still nothing new. They must be chasing money on HBO/cable.

Was excited when I saw this app, but the news is hopelessly outdated. For example the latest Europe item is from a year ago. Not recommended.

Good reporting, but no way to organize by date... you can't call it news if none of the listed stories are actually new!

Checked the news under "Americas" today and saw that all the articles are from 2016, I'm removing the app from my phone.

As others mentioned, the content of this app is way out of date. Despite replies to others about working on updating stories - nothing.

Why am I seeing June articles? I still don't understand how Vice is worth billion of dollars

Good news stories but app hasn't updated no matter what in maybe 6 weeks.

Incredibly behind in what is happening in the news. Like a week or more behind. A lot is going on, plenty to cover guys.

Why is the entire war and conflict section from 2016?

I love vice but this app sucked. I never updates to current news. It had the same story's for 3 weeks no change.

This news app hasn't updated articles since i put it on my phone a month ago. There must be a bug in the app.
