What a waste of money that dongle was. Such limited information on the app. Only shows current, not wattage. I mainly bought for the history, thinking I would be able to review previous days usage etc and monitor for patterns or abnormalities in my power usage in my off grid camper. Don't get any of that, just max min voltages etc, no actual useful information.

Great product and app, got a bluesmart IP65 to replace my Ctek MXS5.0 which was DOA would be nice to see charging history as a graph to see how much power a battery has taken on. other features would be charging time etc

Works great on my Samsung tab and moto 5 phone ,but what has happened to the clear history for the BMV 700, can we get that back please

Tends to crash frequently on my galaxy s8

Works well with both my 75/15 Charge controller and 12/375 Inverter. No connections problems as others have mentioned (Im using a samsung s7) connects to both BT dongles without hassle. Bluetooth supports use up to 20m in (relatively) open space.. It's nice being able to monitor from the comfort of inside my home :) One small suggestion though.. It would be nice to see the current AC Watt usage the inverter is putting out on the app. I did see previews of this before my purchase so I was a bit dissapointed when I opened the app and it wasn't displayed. It would be a really nice future update :) (pleeeeeease). Thanks for putting out A+ Products Victron!! Keep up the excellent work!

Working fine but somewhat limited functionality. Release notes of embedded firmware updates are nowhere to be found, even though these are essential to find out what has changed.

Has been a complete and utter nightmare. It only seems to work the day or two after an update is installed. Every day reinstalling, restarting, re-pairing multiple times. Not a range or metal shielding issue. Installed in a small, one room wooden boat. Lets see if they've cracked it this time. - will report​ back in a week. -update: As usual does not work after a few days operation. Unreliable. Avoid.

I am sick of this app! When you most want it to work it won't connect. Wish we had selected some other way of monitoring our caravan solar! Especially bad after firmware updates!!!!!

Wish that the BMV 702 had more detailed history stats, such as there are by day on the MPPT controller history page. It is currently lacking in that it only shows historical minimums and maximums and cumulative.

The app is now working correctly thanks for fixing it. Fantastic application a must for any camper van off grid. The Victron products fitted to my van, split charge device and mppt devices have been first class.

Works with OTG but won't connect via Bluetooth.Tried 000000 but same old story. Using Lenovo tab running Android 4.4.2 and Bluetooth v4.0 !

Got the dongle but won't connect with m phone kept saying incorrect pin though i used 000000 still says incorrect pin. It eventually​ did connect on its own. I was able to use the app to update the dongle and the 2 now connect easily. Still the app refreshes too much. Doesn't seem to support android multitask. Maybe it's by design to save battery

Had some firmware update failures but it got there in the end. Love the app...make me want to buy more victron equiptment

Great app. Latest FW update failed some times but finally got it to work.

Works well on my Galaxy S5. Nice to be able to access the info and setting. Victron please note that it would be great to integrate the Bluetooth into all you devices rather than force customers to buy separate Bluetooth dongles for many of your devices.

This app will not connect to our Phone ZTE Blade Q lux. Blue tooth and location are both enabled. Can you please explain? TIA

Great app, can read all the good info from the solar panels, works great.

Why does the app need GPS Location! The last update December 2016 requires access to location. To use Bluetooth one has to be within 3 to 5 metres of the appliance. As a user I'd like to think I know where I am. Does Victron really need to know where I am when I monitor my battery caharger!

Only with the last update it won't work with phones where cyanogenmod is installed, have to use another phone now...

Brilliant app for a brilliant product. I would like it if there was an ability to download data in a compatible format (maybe excel or similar) for historic panel data.mit would also be great if the app supported traveling and didn't update er ask for firmware updates while away from home and in another country.

Good app for a great product. So handy for monitoring solar input into the batteries on my 4wd, especially when I go camping and fishing.

Nice application.it would be awesome to include info about the batteries efficiency.

Good for solar charge controllers, but history is lacking for my bmv 702 battery monitor. I would like to see a day by day summary for the last 30 days on the battery monitor.

I like the basic features but two essential features are missing. 1) The app does not show Watt usage. The bmv display does show this, why leave it out of the app? 2) the app does not trend W or A usage in a graph. Not even for the times you check manually.

After firmware update no chance to connect. It seems like Bluetooth dongle update has bricked it??! Vicron now what to do?

Very handy app that goes with the BMV702. Hopefully Victron makes changes on the app readings to show 0.1 increments on the State of Charge, Consumed AmpHours and Temperature measurement. I hope future update on the BMV app will show the Power measurement just like in the meter itself.

Works well but wish it read out the temperature so you can check the temperature compensation. Just updated just checked temperature compensation setting the default in my case was -19.2mv/deg C had to change it to -4mv/deg C

We have multiple BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers. The new features selection is much easier to understand and to configure. No weird selection anymore, straight forward and very easy to understand. I'm really happy! We would love to see the load output ON time in the history section. This would help troubleshoot solar lighting systems.

No issue with BMV700 and MPPT 150/45

Got my VE Direct to usb cable yesterday and approached my system ready for a fight to get it to work but NO! Worked first time on both my charge controller and battery monitor. Recognised product straight away. Informed me of firmware update. Installed in seconds. I'm going to tri and see if this works as well through a USB hub to my tablet. The app is good in landscape and portrait. Well done VE. Would like a longer history as it's only showing 3 days but this may be me. Will see what happens in a few days. This was on my Nexus 5x and my Samsung Galaxy View. Live on a boat and the simple set out of the info is great for an enthusiastic amateur like me.

Easy to set up. Works as described via Bluetooth dongle on Samsung galaxy s 5 and galaxy tab s 10.5. Like the regulator, it's a good bit of kit. Well done.

Great job, Victron! I love being able to monitor my battery bank from my phone and also update my firmware for my solar controller via Bluetooth. This is great for an RVer.

I tried this app unsuccessful on my android phone (Telstra Max).Hope there is a fix for what could be a good app.

I'm happy with the app as it allows me to check the sun harvest and the charging state of my battery bank. However, it would be great to be able to save the history data onto my phone and probably even be able to export it as csv file.
